Recording industry author Bobby Owsinski uncovered a great find on his blog---a rare video of a 1965 Frank Sinatra recording session of “It Was A Very Good Year,” complete with a full orchestra.

The session took place at the famed United Western studio (now called Ocean Way and owned by Allen Sides).  Resident gearheads will notice the UA 175 Limiter, Ampex 350 deck, and the custom 610 recording console designed by UA founder and longtime Frank Sinatra engineer, Bill Putnam Sr.
