Galaxy Tape Echo Plug-In
In 1973, Roland created the RE‑201 Space Echo* — a tape delay/spring reverb system that created warm, warped, unabashedly analog echo effects. From subtle tape textures to mindbending chaos, this iconic contraption is heard on classic Pink Floyd and David Bowie, as well as seminal dub sides from King Tubby, Scientist, and Lee “Scratch” Perry. The Galaxy Tape Echo plug‑in expertly captures the inspiring hardware, giving you its gritty distortion, musical delays, sci-fi pitch shifting, and so much more.
Brigade Chorus Plug-In
Revered for its warm, organic modulation and chewy pitch-shifting vibrato, the BOSS CE‑1 Chorus Ensemble* was the first ever production stompbox chorus. Introduced in 1976, this heavy-duty pewter box quickly dazzled players and producers with its luxuriant, dreamy textures. The Brigade Chorus plug‑in emulates every inch of this legendary pedal, expertly capturing its legendary bucket-brigade circuit to deliver captivating chorus shimmer and wobbly vibrato that works on nearly any source.
Studio D Chorus Plug-In
Introduced in 1979, the Roland Dimension D* chorus is famous for injecting spatialization, and sweet, subtle modulation. Used as a “secret sauce” by everyone from Brian Eno to Stevie Ray Vaughan, this legendary rack piece is an ideal example of functional simplicity. The Studio D Chorus plug‑in is an exacting emulation of this sought-after rack unit, deftly capturing its musical bucket‑brigade circuit, the key to its complex range of sounds and textures.
*The Brigade Chorus, Galaxy Tape Echo, and Studio D Chorus plug-ins are not affiliated with, sponsored, nor endorsed by Roland or BOSS. The Roland and BOSS names, as well as the CE-1 and Chorus Ensemble, RE-201 Space Echo, and Dimension D model names, are used solely to identify the classic effects emulated by Universal Audio's product.

Classic tape delay
I'm not sure I agree with keeping ALL the limitations of the original interface, but it will be hard to make a sound with this that isn't plausibly analog-like. UA's experience in tape...

Great for keys and 70's vibe
I slept on this for a long time, as I prefer the Echoplex or Ampex for a more 60s sound. The Galaxy however shines on keys and synths! Really full and warm textures and really true to the...

Deep and luscious
Just as deep and luscious as the original Boss hardware chorus I used in the 80s on Fender Rhodes, as well as a multitude of new interesting sounds, and obviously way easier to save...

Favorite Chorus
After owning several “Chorus” plugins, I believe I’ve finally found The ONE. It adds a non-digital, analog character to my sounds and vocals.

Classic tape delay
I'm not sure I agree with keeping ALL the limitations of the original interface, but it will be hard to make a sound with this that isn't plausibly analog-like. UA's experience in tape simulations comes through here over some of the competing versions.

Great for keys and 70's vibe
I slept on this for a long time, as I prefer the Echoplex or Ampex for a more 60s sound. The Galaxy however shines on keys and synths! Really full and warm textures and really true to the sound of the original units (which I both owned and used extensively). The best RE201 emulation out there, period.

Deep and luscious
Just as deep and luscious as the original Boss hardware chorus I used in the 80s on Fender Rhodes, as well as a multitude of new interesting sounds, and obviously way easier to save settings than back in the day. I use it on electric guitars, keys and BVs and on anything that needs that wobbly warmth. You'll love it.

Such a vibe
Such a killer delay/reverb for adding depth AND sonic character. It's really fun to play with, and when driven, sounds remarkably close to a proper tape delay, without the maintenance. Only giving 4 stars as you can't manually adjust the delay time beyond fixed parameters, such as 1/4 or 1/8, or variations of around 100 milliseconds on fixed times from the original unit. I think sometimes UAD shoot themselves in the foot by not adding extra features which everyone would have gladly had on the original hardware and are easy as pie to add to the plugin. But for fixed times and even as a stand alone reverb, this is a fantastic plugin, hands down.

Studio D-licious
This fills my bucket. Everything old is new again, and it sounds as fresh as the day it came out 40+ years ago.

My favourite chorus.
It works great for getting a bigger sound on background vocals.

Wide :)
Very wide clear sound.

Awesome delay
I like so much Roland tape echo. This plugin is so close to the real one.

Amazingly useful
The only invisible chorus I know. Fits easily into any mix, removes sharpness und broadens the stereo image in elegant ways. Only downer is the original designfidelity - I would have liked a dry/wet-control. Still, all in all an underrated gem.

Great bundle
Top notch plugins as expected from UA. I would just ask for a mix knob on the Studio D.

Check pur the Spring Reverb!
Own and love the delay sounds for a very Long time now - but I just recently tried the spring reverb on vocals of a vintage type song - and it just fitted perfectly! Great sound!

Instant old school chorus vibe
Great vintage chorus sound. Love that I can use it with spark when I‘m mixing away from my studio just with laptop and headphones.
