There are different types of PCIe card slots, 1x, 4x, 8x, and 16x. What type is the UAD-1e and will it work in the other slots?
The UAD-1e is a 1x PCIe card, but it will fit in and work fine in any 4x, 8x, and 16x slot. Shipping G5s have two 4x, one 8x, and one 16x slot, and the UAD-1e will work in all three.

What is the difference between the Express and Expert PAKs?
The UAD-1e Express PAK is just like the UAD-1 Project PAK, but comes with a $100 voucher, and costs $499. The Expert PAK is like the UAD-1 Flexi PAK, but comes with $750 voucher, and costs $999. Both include the 1176SE, Pultec EQP-1A, RealVerb Pro, Nigel, and CS-1 plug-ins.

What if I own a UAD-1 already and I want to buy a new Mac with PCIe only slots? Is there a crossgrade plan?
Yes, there is a crossgrade plan. If you already own a UAD-1, and purchase an Express PAK, you will receive a $100 voucher to use on the online store. If you purchase an Expert PAK, you will receive a $250 voucher.
If you no longer want the PCI UAD-1 card, you can do one of two things: transfer all your authorizations to your new UAD-1e card, and then sell your UAD-1 as a Project PAK. Or, you can sell your UAD-1 with all it's authorizations and use the proceeds from that sale to buy plug-ins for your UAD-1e.
