Are you an engineer on the go? Do you work occasionally on your laptop in remote locations, and other times at home on your desktop? UA has created a solution that allows you to use your UAD-Xpander laptop DSP product on your desktop machine as well, via a PCIe to ExpressCard adapter.

The UAD-Xtenda package is a 1x PCIe to ExpressCard adapter card for desktop computers, as well as a 15-foot UAD-Link cable, in case you need a longer run than the UAD-Link cable included with your UAD-Xpander. It can be used with any desktop PC that has a spare 1x or higher PCIe slot that is not specifically designed for use by a graphics card. Via the UAD-Xtenda, users can seamlessly add a UAD-Xpander to any existing UAD cards inside a desktop Mac/PC up to the standard system limit of 4 UAD DSP units.
