UAD-1 PLUG-IN TRANSFERS TO UAD-2 ARE FREE

Rest assured that your Powered Plug-In investment is safe when you upgrade to UAD-2.

Tips

During registration of your new UAD-2 product you will be prompted to upgrade your existing plug-ins to UAD-2 so every Plug-In* you own will then work on BOTH UAD-1 & UAD-2 cards
Use up to 4 UAD-1 & 4 UAD-2 (8 cards total) in a single system.

*Nigel has been discontinued and will not be available for UAD-2 but will continue to run on UAD-1.

UAD-XPANDER USERS WHO UPGRADE TO UAD-2 SOLO/Laptop GET A UAD$250 VOUCHER

UA is offering a limited time Upgrade Promotion for all existing UAD Xpander users. Purchase and register a new UAD-2 SOLO/Laptop before December 31st 2009, and get an additional UAD$250 store voucher (beyond the one that comes in the box) towards your next Powered Plug-In Purchase, and KEEP or SELL your UAD product.

Tips

Your my.uaudio account will be credited when you register your new UAD-2 SOLO/Laptop
You may upgrade one time per system, until the promo expires, as long as a UAD-Xpander remains in your my.uaudio account

UAD OWNERS CAN NOW TAKE THEIR POWERED PLUG-INS TO GO

With the launch of the UAD-2 SOLO/Laptop we have added a new flexible licensing feature to allow users to “Link” existing UAD plug-in licenses to a UAD-2 SOLO/Laptop.

During SOLO/Laptop registration if a UAD system(s) is detected in your account, there will be 2 options available:

Option 1 (Standard Registration):
Register your SOLO/Laptop into a new system
NOTE: this will be a separate system and will require separate plug-in licenses
Option 2 (Link License Registration):
If you want to use your SOLO/Laptop on a Laptop Computer but want to link it to an existing system to use the plug-ins you already own.
NOTE: If you choose this option you will need to go to your desktop machine to complete registration

Tips

Only 1 SOLO/Laptop can be linked per System
Link Licensing is a link to the original desktop System so if you ever decide to sell the desktop card(s) you will need to transfer the Licenses to the SOLO/Laptop if you want to continue using the licenses. If you Sell and Transfer the Plug-Ins on your desktop card(s) the Link will be severed and plug-ins will no longer be available on the Laptop Card.
