Best Amp!
The only reason for the 4 stars is because there’s no Unison option

Excellent Amp sim
Love everything I’m getting from Universal Audio. It’s all top notch stuff, basically the best that money can buy. My only complaint? It DOES cost money, that’s for sure. I wish all the things were just that tad bit cheaper, I’d buy a whole lot more stuff if that was the case. Still, I’m grateful for the incredibly high quality of these plugins.
I’ve got a few suggestions, or wishes more like. Could you please create a VOX AC30 amp plugin? You’re creating all of these Suhr things and what not and as great as those amps are, I’d love some more classics. A Deluxe and or Twin Reverb would be great too.
Further, could you please sell your distortion pedals separately rather than force them into a package? $49 each is still expensive for that type of a single plugin but hey, it makes it possible to attain a little easier. And, as a matter of fact, could you create a few more pedal like plugins? Such as a couple of classic delays, reverbs, modulation and fuzz and drive pedals..? List them as singles for attainable prices and you’ll be selling more plugins by the bucketload!
Again, this Chandler amp is good for sure, just wish it was Unison enabled though.

Great, would be amazing if was unison
This little amp is amazing, really like it. Already had the plugin alliance version (got it super cheap) and worked just fine however when I’m producing and later I wanted to add some guitars the latency was killing me, so I decided to get the uad version for near zero latency and works amazing, sounds the same as the uad isn’t unison enabled but works perfectly fine for leads, clean guitars and crunchy rhythms, I have lots of amp sims and every single one of them has its own unique vibe but this one is one of my favorites, definitely a good plugin worth checking it out.

Je cherchais un plug in guitare sans latence pour travailler la guitare tranquille en silence à la maison, celui là se rapprochait du son de mon ampli ...Résultat ,je crois que je vais l'utiliser pour mes prises de sons ,on peut vraiment trouver son bonheur . Du coup j'ai aussi envie du Marshall blues breaker , c'est le problème chez universal audio ,on les veut tous ..:)

I have only demoed this plug-in but I've demoed it a few times and really dug into it, so take what you will from this review....
My favorite amp plug-in for the past while has been the UAD Marshall Plexi. This Chandler offers a very different tone to me. It really has a ton of options, especially once you take into account the various drive flavors (thick, treble boost, etc.), but generally I am looking for an amp's sweet spot, where its innate character shines through, and to me the Chandler offers a kind of garagey-lo fi sound that is very appealing -- a very mid-rangey distortion that is warm and thick and makes you want to play Troggs songs.

Delighted, I have not owned one. Amazed though I have never set foot in a Real Studio. I do not have room in my 16' x 11.5' x 8.5' studio to own all the great guitar amps of our time. A simulation is all I have room for. The Amp sims On the Uaudio system cards give the sound of the sim something I do not hear in a Mac/ PC +plugin alone.
But I give Brainworx a great deal of credit for their effort in bringing the this sim to the UAD platform.
When A/Bing my live tracked guitar to Brainworx live tracked guitar in the sim the differences are clear. Gain staging, mic/phase alignment, Matching Mic to preamp sweet-spot. This recording chain is just as important as the amp sim sounding like the real Chandler guitar amp.

Like a good album
Like a good album, this amp emulation took a little while to get used to and to find that sweetness from. You really have to tweak around to get what you want from it. All in all, a fine sounding amp from an emulation. You want the real thing, record it. You want something in the ballpark to get some cool sounds quick, this is the answer. I really dig this emulation of the coveted Chandler amp. You do need to play around with the input and levels to get that particular sound, but after that it is a really fun thing to play with.

Amp BEFORE mic preamp
Great amp...and i also bought the cool Neve 1073. Now it would be nice to have the opertunity to have the amp before the mic preamp !!! but i´m sure you have you reasons why it aint so...will you fix it in the future? Thank you for great sounding plugs :-)

Sounds great
I own a few different GTR amp plugs and I feel this one really has a great sound. IT is very flexible with clean and dirty sounds. the effects are pretty nice. the one negative for me would be nice to have a simple reverb in addition to the delay.
still it's pretty nice to have. I recommend it.

Nice amp sim
Sounds great as a second amp in the rig with a ENGL. However after reading comments about the Scuffham Amp sim I tried it and bought immediately. It was 100.00 less than the Chandler and FAR more flexible with a ton of headroom.

This amp plugin takes some tweaking, but with an echoplex in front and about 3 hours of initial learning curve, you can make this sound very realistic and useable. Don't get turned off on first use as you can make this plugin sound horrible. It's very versatile and takes a bit of your time to dial it in. I have a Vox AC30 and Friedman Brown Eye as my main amps and this thing leans definetly more towards the EL84 based mid gain Voxy more than Marshally sound. Highly recommended. I purchased without a coupon and don't regret it a bit! And I don't really care for amp plugins! I'd rather turn my amp down to nothing and crank a mic pre, but this plugin will change my late night recording methods fer sure! 4 out of 5 !
