EMT 250 reste encore un peu un mystère pour moi. Je n'ai peut-être pas encore assez expérimenté l'outil, mais elle me parle moins que la 140... Ceci étant la qualité UAD est toujours au rendez-vous...

A thick sound
It is the same as EMT 140 and it is also very natural.
Although not bad, I think it is more difficult to set than EMT 140.

pretty nice reverb unit!
Ive been playing around with it and it sounds pretty good on guitars and drums so far . i like the lexicon better for vocals and sax though. I'm sure Ill find some more ways to use it. pretty cool unit.

might be getting long in the tooth, but i keep coming back to this emt 250... it fills a much needed gap in my verb palate.

Great for that nostalgic sound
I got this because it was a great part of the last records I made with Blue Oyster Cult but compared to some of the other reverbs I have like Real-verb, it's a little plain. Still I use it when I want THAT sound.

Lush reverbs
A very simple layout with numerous options and great sounding results. This is one of my favorite reverbs to use because of how easy it is to dial in the necesarry amount.

Emt-250
Really handy tool to have . Chorus is great, delays are shorter but really nice sounding and the reverb makes everything sit nicely in the mix while being very easy to dial in.The reverb, to me , only has one flavor to it but it's such a great sounding one that's very tweakable..When the pros can't tell the difference between this plug in and the 25,000 $ hardware version it becomes an easier decision . U need this ! Demo it and see for yourself .

Ocean Way Nashville
As a Belmont student, I have been lucky enough to spend time in Ocean Way where they actually have the real version. While the comparison is not spot on (and i dont think it should be) this reverb is so unique in its sound and function. As my first purchased UAD reverb, it has definitely given me a good opinion of their capabilities! Cost seems to be a bit high though, as it does for most of the verb plug ins

warm and smooth
This is really a great reverb and best EMT250 emulations I have ever heard.
Its fat and warm but its not over the top… you can add a lot of reverb without getting a 'muddy' sound. I like it a lot on guitars but I don't like it on everything.

Silky smooth
I love this reverb to bits, you can dial in so much wet signal before it muddies your mix. My favorite application is for creating large room reverbs, that character of it is just so silky and smooth and doesn't create loads of screaming resonances like a lot of other verbs. The only thing is you cant do the PROPER small room/gated sounding reverbs that you can with say, some Native convolution verbs, but I guess that's just a limit of the original hardware. Amazing reverb all round, my go to verb for nearly everything now. I just made a tune with loads of it on and it's amazing how clean it still sounds.

This machine makes my sound very calm.
Higher Frequency than Lexicon, I like this.
