I have purchased only three plug-ins for my Apollo, and this one is the best. I'd been waiting for it to come down in price. As a hobbyist, I am pretty stingy with plug-in money. This was well worth the cost though (discounted by December sale, and then with a coupon to boot). I am having great fun with this. When tweaked down a bit, to remove some of the wobbly, there is less fun, but such room for my sounds. Makes a piano sound like its from another planet, yet warm enough to want to wade into the sound while soaking in a warm bath.
In 80-th I used Roland RE-2o1 Space Echo with my Mini Moog on stage. Oh! It was fantastic setup! Many last years I dreamed about it. Now it's really possible with RE-201 UAD plug-in. Thank you, Universal Audio.!!!
One of the best chorus plug-ins around...does not make the signal weaker, instead if used at minimum settings it fattens up pads, synths, guitars, bass...
I really didn't expect to get very excited about this plugin, I mean, it's a Chorus.
That was until I tossed it on my bass track, so sweet, nicest sounding chorus I have ever used. Then I tried it parallel on a drum mix just for the hell of it, mind blown, gorgeous, silly, and very cool.
This is probably the most fun I have had with any plugin, get it, you'll thank me later!
This a such a beautiful sounding plugin , Another must have
This is such a phenomenal chorus plugin. I am a HUGE "stereo image freak." This plugin just gives a special swirling stereo width to almost any source material. I've used it on mixes for various artists in different genres, from Enrique Iglesias, to Boyz II Men, to J. Balvin, and many more. It NEVER disappoints! Amazing effect.
This is a must have for guitarists and bassists.Sounds and behaves just like the vintage pedal.
Killin' re-creation. Beautiful Sound, Analog Vibe, Delicious!
The Dimension D plugin doesn't do a lot of things, but what it does do is simply amazing. Set the plugin up as a Send and dial in as much (or as little) as you want.
If you have two mono sources like acoustic guitar and voice, put the guitar through the Dimension D plugin to give the song instant stereo width. I use this plugin on literally every song I mix.
Couldn't be more pleased, I always used the Dim D on my mixes back in the 80s and 90s and feel very 'at home' having it in my system again.
I was really skeptical of using this instead of the box, it is so close that I actually prefer using this on my Rhodes so I'm not stuck with the recorded chorus on track. It's a great near perfect emulation
Roland Classic Series FX Bundle is a true classic that Rival Music is happy to be adopting. RE-201 is bringing retro flavor and it is awesome!
Universal Audio plug-in is vere nice Roland CE-1 Plug-In
...Oh, and the occasional crackles I get from my hardware unit are gone too :) And now I get to use multiple instances of it. Adds fairy dust to synths, organs and backing vocals like little else does. Highly recommended.
I had the original pedal in the nineties and recklessly sold it. Well, I have it back, and multiple instances of it. The UA plugin sounds just as good (without the noise), has the beautifully subdued highs of the original and its perfect for backing vocals, vibraphone and electric pianos. In parallel it can add extra body and dimension to just about anything!
just like the old school boss chorus pedals i used when i first started playing the guitar
great chorus...works awesome in Aux/Send mode as well as insert
get this thing now!
Great sounding chorus. My only beef is that I can't insert it in the input channel when I want a very subtle effect. With the intensity and output controls turned all the way down it's still too much. So I'm forced to use it on an aux bus. Same issue with the Roland Dimension D chorus which doesn't have output control.
this is the most acurate chorus sound Ive ever heard
only missing a wet-dry, but its ok
It's the little magic, which I needed! Works great on almost everything!
If you want something to get noticed in the mix this will do it ,,,,, I been putting it in an effect loop to blend it . If I had a mix control knob I would insert it on a channel . Its a lot different than your average Chorus effect
