Developed with a “less is more” focus on high-quality amp sounds — not endless menus, presets and gimmicky effects — Vintage Amp Room injects realtime inspiration and real tone into your “in the box” guitar recordings.
With Vintage Amp Room and your Apollo audio interface, you can finally track your guitar parts through dead-on British and American tube amp models — with sub-2ms latency. Or you can run Vintage Amp Room on your UAD-2 DSP Accelerator hardware to re-amplify your existing guitar or keyboard tracks, adding a whole new dimension of depth and color.

Three Amps + One Mic = Infinite Sounds
Vintage Amp Room’s three guitar amps — “White,” “Brown,” and “Green” — are meticulously modeled on three iconic 1960’s amps that have earned their place in music history. Better still, Amp Room lets you simply “click-and-drag” to audition amps and change dynamic mic positioning via its 3D interface – moving the mic closer, changing the angle, etc. – shaping your sound as you go.
The White Amp: Built to Rock.
Based on the rock n’ roll standard for classic, distorted sounds, the White Amp’s genius lies in its simplicity — a bare essentials, single channel tube amp with no reverb or built-in effects. Its sound is equally straightforward, bringing everything from screaming preamp shred to warm power amp distortion. Perfect when you need a characteristically distorted edge and a powerful roar.
The Brown Amp: an American Classic.
You’ve heard this sound on countless records, from the biggest hits to the obscure B-sides. Its tone covers the gamut from clean, crisp, and clear to warm, thick, and punchy. It’s equally at home with a country-style steel guitar or a down and dirty blues guitar, a funky, chunky rhythm or a warm, mellow strum. With built in Vibrato and Bright controls, this will truly become your go-to amplifier model.
The Green Amp: Versatility with an Edge.
The Green Amp is based on a classic three-channel amp model, with a range of versatility that will work on almost everything. The vibrato/tremolo channel will transport you right back to the ‘60s (even if you really weren’t there). Packed with character, the Green Amp offers up a warm yet intense distortion, with an edginess that cuts through the mix without overpowering it.
