Q: How the hell did you make the 2-610/M-610 sound so good?
A: By building it like the original 610 preamps and having John Hinson design the modern circuit boards while maintaining the hand crafted methodology of yesteryear.

6176 Channel Strip

Q: Does it have a digital output?
A: No.

Q: Is it exactly the same as the 2-610 and 1176LN?
A: No. While we’ve been known primarily for painstaking reproductions of vintage gear, with the 6176 we allowed ourselves to add some new features and take advantage of components with superior specs over the originals. For example, the mic preamp now features a 15db pad. The compressor section still has the twenty microsecond attack time and program dependency of the original 1176, but it is actually slightly quieter. If you love the 2-610 and 1176LN, you won’t be disappointed.
