    The best modulation for pads

    If you’re running out of ideas, and you need to give life and movement to any of your pads or even drums, this is the goat🪄 i’m not too much of a sound designer, but the presets are absolutely amazing it was a hell of a sale and couldn’t miss it. Thanks UA

    Well, it doesn't really make sense without Native

    It's a cool plugin, but it's a plugin for mixing and creative solutions. It's not very smart for such a plugin to be on DSP. Most optimize their work so that they load the DSP for recording or mastering and stem-mastering.

    I would really like to use it more often, but for these tasks there are a bunch of plugins that can run on the native processor and do their job perfectly. In the case when I use it on DSP I constantly have to print the track and move on, which is not always good.

    So, as long as this plugin works exclusively on DSP - it's junk. I hope the developers make it as Native, then it will be worth 5 stars.

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorization of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
