Its upgrade time! We here at Universal Audio are proud to announce version 4.7 is out and ready for download. There are a few things users should be aware of with the release, and I thought I would take this opportunity to go over the new features in v4.7 of the UAD-1 software.

New channel strip plug-in: UAD Neve 88RS

This is a plug-in based on reissued hardware gear we make. For more information about the hardware version, please check out the following link.

System Sleep is now supported for Mac


You can now enable Sleep mode on your Mac! You can find this option under System Preferences>Energy Saver. *Please note: Sleep is not yet fully supported with UAD-1 cards in an expansion chassis. We are working on a way to resolve this.

Windows:
Resolved UAD-1 not responding in systems with greater than 2GB RAM. For all of you with windows systems with over 2 gigs of RAM fear not, as this will no longer be a problem.

Resolved installation issues on certain XP systems. There were a few minor problems that some users had while doing the install of the UAD-1 software.

Microsoft Windows 2000 is no longer supported.

Authorization changes
Please note: The authorization file extension changed from .reg to .uad as of UAD v4.7.0. Consult the installation information on the download authorizations page for more information. Log into your account, navigate to your My Systems page, then click on the Download Software Authorization(s) button and you will find the information
