I initially mixed this song using Waves Native Gold plug-ins. After being bit by the UAD-1 bug I decided to go back and re-mix it using UAD plug-ins to compare the two company's products.

During the process I discovered very quickly that the UAD's user interfaces were more intuitive and provided more efficient workflow.

Sonically UAD smacked down Waves plug after plug delivering warmer more "analog sounding" tone in every case. My Wave plugs have gathered a lot of dust since I became a UAD convert.
