Universal Audio Launches UA Giving Initiative

2021 UA Giving Day Raises $123,656 for Save The Music, Young Musicians Foundation, and NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA • August 9, 2021 Universal Audio (UA), a leading manufacturer of professional audio recording hardware and software, is proud to announce the UA Giving initiative. As a philanthropic program within Universal Audio, UA Giving strives to make musical expression accessible to everyone by partnering with leading nonprofit organizations that share the values of music education, equality, and community outreach.

In addition to providing support to charitable causes year-round, UA Giving’s annual UA Giving Day on June 10th (6/10) donates all proceeds from the UA Online Store directly to worthy charities. This year, UA Giving Day raised $123,656 for Save the Music Foundation, Young Musician’s Foundation, and the NAACP Legal Defense Funds’s political participation program.

“Creating and recording music is at the heart of what we do at Universal Audio and it’s our goal to make it accessible to as many people as possible,” says Universal Audio CEO, Bill Putnam Jr. “We are truly grateful to everyone who helped us make a positive difference by purchasing UAD plug-ins on June 10th — UA Giving Day.”
