Two premium analog saturation tools now available for Apollo and UAD hardware

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA • July 7, 2026  — Universal Audio, Inc. (UA), a worldwide leader in audio production tools, is proud to announce UAD Black Box Analog Design HG-2 and UAD elysia karacter Stereo Saturator. Developed by Brainworx, both plug-ins bring the sound of premium boutique analog saturation and harmonic enhancement to owners of Apollo audio interfaces and UAD hardware.

Long trusted by top mix and mastering engineers, the Black Box Analog Design HG-2 has earned a reputation of making mixes sound rich, full, and finished. Now available as a UAD plug-in, it delivers signature boutique tube saturation along with plug-in-only features like Calibration voicing, and an adjustable Air control for opening up top-end.

The UAD elysia karacter Stereo Saturator also joins the UAD-2 platform, delivering the colorful tone of elysia's boutique Discrete Class A processors, unlocking gentle solid-state saturation to aggressive harmonic destruction across tracks, buses, stems, and full mixes.
