Universal Audio Launches Apollo Creators Video Series

Debut episode features Grammy-winning Producer of the Year Daniel Nigro discussing his early days, his studio, and crafting hits for Chappell Roan and Olivia Rodrigo

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA • April 17, 2025 — Universal Audio, a leader in audio production tools, is proud to introduce the Apollo Creators video series — an exclusive collection of interviews offering a behind‑the‑scenes look at today’s top producers.

Shot on location at Daniel Nigro's studio in Los Angeles, California, the first episode explores Nigro’s journey from band member to songwriter to in‑demand, Grammy‑winning producer. It also showcases his hit-making creative space, filled with vintage synths, outboard gear, and, of course, Universal Audio Apollo interfaces.

"When I moved to LA, my goal wasn't to be a producer," says Nigro. "I wanted to be a songwriter. It's funny how your goals change."

The full episode is available now on Universal Audio’s blog, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.
