Introducing Paradise Guitar Studio

New UAD plug-in gives you expertly-modeled amps, effects, and mics all in one place.

Since OX Amp Top Box debuted in 2017, our authentic analog modeling has set a new standard for guitar players' recording rigs. And now — after capturing even more of the most sought-after amps, cabinets, and effects in end-to-end detail — we're proud to introduce Paradise Guitar Studio.

Here, James Santiago gives you an overview of the plug-in, takes you through some of his favorite sounds, and shows you first-hand how to get the best recorded guitar tones of your life.

Watch James Santiago build an album-worthy guitar sound in seconds with Paradise Guitar Studio — mixing amps, cabs, pedals, and post-FX like a real session chain.

Pair Iconic Cabinets and Microphones

Great tone starts with a great amp. But it really comes to life with the right cab and a perfectly-placed microphone. Paradise makes it easy with dozens of options designed by engineers who obsess over things like cone breakup, ribbon warmth, and mic placement.

Unlike other UAD guitar amp plug-ins, the amplifiers in Paradise can be matched to any available cab and mic. This opens up nearly limitless tones and unique setups, even before you factor in pedals and studio effects.

"Paradise is the most complete ‘end-to-end’ virtual guitar studio we’ve ever built.”

James Santiago, Senior Product Designer at UA

Explore Dozens of Studio and Stompbox Effects

Once your core tone is dialed in, you can shape it to perfection with over 25 legendary effects. Add punch with 1176 compression, a splash of spring or plate reverb, or dirty things up with tape echo and classic overdrives to find a tone that's huge, weird, or wonderful.

You can use five effects slots before the amp, akin to a classic pedalboard setup. These slots are the perfect place for pairing overdrive, distortion, or fuzz boxes with modulation or time-based effects that you want to hit the front of the amp.

There are five additional effects slots after the amp. This is where your studio effects processing comes in. It's the perfect way to add width and shimmer with stereo delays and reverbs, or shape your entire sound with compression and EQ.

Effects in Paradise Guitar Studio:

  • 6 overdrives and distortions
  • 7 modulation effects
  • 2 dynamics processors
  • 4 delays
  • 4 reverbs
  • 3 tone and filter effects

Get to the Good Stuff Fast with Presets

Whether you want deep control or quick results, Paradise lets you spend more time creating and less time digging for patch cables. With over 300 presets on tap, you'll find inspiring settings for any genre.
