    When Hope Is Surpassed

    I cant recall exactly when I started searching for the perfect Marshall Amp from a plug-in? But Ive tried and tested more than I care to count. Even those that are endorsed and legally sold at the top echelon priced and branded, I tried to believe were as close as Id ever get, otherwise they’d not be endorsed and branded as Marshall, true? And I’m even talking UA over the years, which have been damn good and damn close to perfection; then along comes this “Lion 68 Super Lead”, meh, its not branded or marketed as endorsed, so how good is it going to be , really?? In fact looks cheap compared to the endorsed style gfx . . . Looks deceive this little monster, and I dont think Ill need to look any further, THIS IS MY MARSHALL, FINALLY. And this is the ONE plug in Marshall should have endorsed, and withdrawn endorsement from just about all before it!

    marshall sound

    i play my les paul into a Focusrite 2i2 scarlett 4th Gen interface into LUNA by Universal Audio. alot of great presets but i prefer to set it on the default/Lion amp. tweek the volume,tone and bass to fit my guitar. Sounds great!

    Excellent sound, but it doesn't handle third-party operdrive pedals well.

    The plugin itself has an excellent sound; it has everything you'd expect from a vintage Marshall. It includes a booster that helps with the more saturated tones and handles third-party IRs very well.

    The only weakness I find is that when you add overdrive or distortion pedals, or plugins from other brands, to it, the sound becomes muddy and dull. The built-in booster works well, but if you want to add another layer of color to the sound, it doesn't handle it very well. That's just my personal opinion.

    Love it

    I am initially overwhelmed at all the capabilities of this plugin. But am excited to start working on crafting my own sound wit it. Big fan of EVH so this is definitely exciting seeing the brown devil on there!
