    So glad I pulled the trigger on this one.

    I really love the UA Studer Plugin and used it on nearly every project that I want that old school sound, but I can see myself going to the ATR even more now. The friggin' warmth of this thing. Love it! As I use it more I can see that I will be using both for different applications, but the first time I tried the Ampex I was shocked how great it sounded. The most useful presets on any Tape plugin I've used too.

    The Best so far.

    After trying several plugins of this type, I can say without a doubt that the Ampex ART-102 delivers the best results — even with no tweaks at all.

    Just buy it!
