    Amazing transformation!

The collaboration of the different parts to make a cohesive perfectly blended sound of every instrument and vocal that passes through it proves the the channel strip is still the highest level of sonic quality out there and to couple that with the API. Being built into UAD’s LUNA is a game changer. And to have to integration not affect the dsp is Mind blowing. I love it. Even though it’s a learning curve for me. And, I welcome the invaluable growth.

    Awesome

One of my go-to pieces for almost every mix. I just wish UA would drop more emulations( like Neve or SSL consoles)

    Luna API All you need

What I find most efficient about the API extension in UAD is the DSP offload — it significantly optimizes system performance during mixing. The integration with the UAD Console provides everything you need in one place: gain staging, high-pass filtering, gate, compression, and EQ, all with the unmistakable API tone and responsiveness. It streamlines the signal chain and speeds up decision-making, making it an invaluable tool.

Hard to figure out. I miss protools

Aside from not being able to slow down drum parts enough, I’m having trouble using the API. Originally I had the UA Apollo four and my wife had the Apollo eight. She decided she didn’t need it so she gave it to me to use. I didn’t realize it. The plug-ins kind of go with the eight or the four. Sweetwater helped me a bit, but they said I have to get together with you guys and change things around so I have my plug-ins and the wife has hers. I don’t know who’s are who’s at this point? I’ve just gone back to using LA 2 A and the like for inserts. I went to NAMM and talked to a person at the UA booth. He told about the API stuff and I videoed what he showed me. I just haven’t been able to get it going
