    Exceptional Channel Strip for VoiceOver, Audiobooks and Podcasts

    I primarily use the AMS Neve DFC Channel Strip for VoiceOver, audiobooks, and podcasts, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance.

    For voice work, the DFC is simply fantastic. It provides an excellent level of control over the vocal signal while retaining a natural, detailed and professional character. It is a powerful channel strip, but it also allows me to work with precision when shaping a voice for demanding spoken-word applications.

    I am using it with an Apollo Twin X Duo USB on Windows. After the latest software update released a few days ago, I have also noticed a significant improvement in stability: the previous freezes I was experiencing have no longer occurred in my workflow.

    For my professional VoiceOver, audiobook and podcast work, the AMS Neve DFC Channel Strip has become a highly valuable part of my setup. The combination of its sound, flexibility and, following the latest update, improved stability makes it a plugin I genuinely enjoy working with.

    Outstanding channel strip

    Outstanding channel strip. The AMS Neve DFC doesn't add hype or vintage coloration—it simply makes mixes sound finished. The EQ is incredibly precise, the dynamics section is smooth and musical, and the workflow is fast and intuitive. After a few sessions, it became my go-to plugin on almost every track. One of the most underrated tools in the UAD lineup.

    NEVE DFC - my favourite channel strip for re- recording TV and cinema

    I already own to two UAD accelerator cards with NEVE DFC plugin. This is the third one- installed on a satellite system. Jumping with projects from a real NEVE DFC to mixes "in the box" in Protools or Nuendo- there is no audible difference between the real desk and the UAD plugin. I love it.
