The Precision Limiter plug-in is a single-band, look-ahead brickwall limiter made primarily for use with program material. Easy to use, the Precision Limiter plug-in is a colorless, transparent mastering limiter. No upsampling is used, nor does the Precision Limiter pass audio through any filters — audio remains untouched unless the compressor is working, in which case, only gain is affected.

    A Capable Limiter

    This limiter does what it does well and has great options for various applications. It is hampered by a UI that needs a serious update and its dependency on Apollo hardware. Having the Precision line of tools overhauled visually and making them available natively would extend their very high value as tools.

    Nice and old

    I think it sounds great as a master limiter.

    The UI does not reflect the quality of the plugin though.

    It's very low resolution and it feels it has been blown up from low tes images.

    Sounds good - looks terrible.

The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to.
