Deliver the Final Fit and Finish

A final stage processor must provide a comprehensive set of dithering options so that the engineer can monitor in real-time the effects of dithering, and then apply it to their final mixdown. The Oxford Limiter v2 provides both 24 bit and 16 bit output word length selections, using high pass TPDF (Triangular Probability Density Function) dithering, plus four types of variable-depth noise shaping.

    This plug in as amazing. So clean. No distortion, no artifacts, no thining the sound, no losing transients...amazing. And loud as hell. Easily one of the best limiters out there if not THE best.

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to.
