From subtle and transparent dynamic control to more aggressive textures with peak limiting, the SSL G Bus Compressor plug-in’s simple, intuitive control set gives you what you need, quickly. The fixed Attack and Release controls are SSL-voiced for bus functionality, including the program-dependent Auto Release function. Conjure "barely a wiggle" 2-bus glue, or "bury the needle" full dynamic crush with the continuous Threshold control.

Work Efficiently with Custom Controls

Use the internal Side Chain Filter for precise tailoring of low-frequency response to reduce low-end “pumping,” and the Mix control for easy inline dry/wet processing — perfect for quick parallel compression on a drum or vocal bus. The Headroom control lets you adjust the overall operating level of the plug‑in.

Add Professional Fades

    Superbe on any buses

    Very smooth and glueing drums on a bus or group together. As a Side chain on any channel. It brings very gentle the light up!

    I'm no expert, but even I can hear how well this works

    I won't pretend to have the skills that 90% of the producers in these reviews have, but even my guitar-player ears can hear how well this pulls things together. It just works and sounds great. HIGHLY recommend.

We provide three activations per license. We support activation on your computer or on an iLok USB key.

For every UAD plug-in that supports native and Apollo/UAD-2 versions, you get a license for both upon purchase, or the option to get it through an upgrade.

Native plug-ins are supported on macOS and Windows systems. See our Native UAD System Requirements article for full system requirements. An iLok account is required for managing your native plug-in licenses. We support iLok USB keys for portability, but one is not required.
