Vintage preamp mode is an all-analog circuit designed exclusively for Volt interfaces, giving you the rich, full sound of UA tube preamps on your mic, line, and instrument inputs. To enable the feature, simply press the VINTAGE button on the front panel. With Volt 876 you can also set, save and recall these settings from either the UAD Console app or LUNA DAW software.

The 76 Compressor lets you add clarity and punch to voice, guitars, and more, with an analog compressor inspired by UA's iconic 1176 FET Compressor. Press the 76 COMP button repeatedly to cycle through the presets or disable the circuit (VOC, GTR, FAST, or OFF). With Volt 876 you can also set, save and recall these settings from either the UAD Console app or LUNA DAW software.

Yes! Volt 876 is class-compliant USB with front panel controls for easy setup, so it can be used with a wide variety of devices. Your device may require an adapter, and Volt 876 will require an external AC power source.

Volt 876 requires a driver on Windows to enhance functionality. The driver is installed by UA Connect. A driver is not needed with macOS or iOS/iPad.

In order to register your Volt 876, first visit the Volt 876 registration page, and create a UA account if you do not have one. Download and install UA Connect, then launch the app. Connect the Volt 876 unit to your host computer using the supplied USB cable. Ensure the unit is also connected to AC power and powered on.
