Simple, complet, efficace

Autant que le fait de compresser ou limiter facilement le signal d'une piste , c'est pour moi la possibilité d'attribuer une touche sonore qui vient directement des modélisations du hardware et qui me plaisent. (au studio Golgoth 43 je possède les deux et j'ai pu donc comparer)
Pour du mix ça fait partie de ma trousse à outils.
Vous trouverez rapidement un intérêt esthétique à modifier les réglages d'attaque & de relâchement.

CHARACTER
The old 1176 was among the best out there. Now there's even more to it! The three 1176's have very different characters, with more evident distortion characteristics than the old plugin. Tracks come to life with these beasts.

610 is what I needed.
Vocals and (Stacks O) of them are huge to me. The 610 operates in a way that I can lay down a bunch without picking up unpleasant artifacts and loss of clarity. Thanks UAD and thanks Bill P!

Name machine! Great plug-ins！
Higher 1176, among the plug-in that was used up to now! Guitar, drums, percussion, etc., surprised all raise the texture. In it does not require equipment to worry about a simple, great comp to solve by switching to 1176, if any problems. Name machine! Great plug-ins.

love this plug
I have had my issues with UA in the past but when the gear works there is nothing that compares in terms of software. others may be catching up and I think UA know they need to change certain aspects of their products and pricing but with the amount of sales available on the site and the quality of the product, we can have few complaints when they get it as right as this. One of my fave plugs. it's a great tool to sculpt sound and refine tracks.

I didn't know whether to give this plug 4 or 5 stars. 5 is a tad too strong but is also a lot to do with the fact that this is still tech that will only get better. Loyal/existing customers should have a better discount tho, when it comes to revamped plugs!

Nice sound. You can push it pretty hard before it starts to sound to unnatural. Now I just need more disp power.

What a difference!
I've been fighting this one track, for over a year and a half, trying to get the vocals and drums, to sit in right, and play nice with the other instruments. I used the LA-2A Gray on the drums and the Silver on the vocals, and wow, what a difference! After a year and a half! Truly a wonderful plugin collection! Kudos!

Fairchild Vocals
I have no idea how I ever thought vocals sounded good until I ran them through this Fairchild 660.
They are unbelievable how now the vocal sits out front with no effort at all... The tone is warm yet with enough
fullness to hold it's center in a song or a film cue.... fantastic device! highly recommend.

38 years of using the hardware version
Ok, so now you know I'm an old analog guy. It was real hard to give up reaching over and turning my UREI products by hand, (and I still do on occasion) but the emulation is pretty realistic on the 1176. I'm a big LA-4 fan so I am waiting for UAD to market that limiter in a DSP version. I will be one of the first to purchase. There is a noticeable difference between the UAD versions of the 1176 and other marketeers. The UAD is definitely more what is sitting in my rack . Nice job engineers!

trés bel EQ, multiples utilisations
il sonnent mieux que pas mal d'autres versions d'autres fabricants......!!! et que la version legacy ! normal !pas forcement simple a utiliser, enfin il faut connaitre l'architecture pultec! mais cela sonne, vraiment c'est tout simplement joli!

Best High/Low cut filter!
This is worth the price for the high/low cut filter alone..... Removes those unwanted frequencies, but adds a bunch of character instead.

This compressor is as smooth as I've heard. There is a vibe to it as well. It has made a big difference on many tracks. I highly recommend it.
