Stupid good
Versatile and smooth. This is such a good compressor for a number of different purposes but have absolutely loved using it on my drums

Unbelievably difficult to install
I’ve never had so much trouble installing a plug-in. After an hour of troubleshooting, I found a video made by UAD about how to uninstall UA Connect. It’s so incredibly complicated (why not just include an uninstaller??) I decided to give up & get a refund. No plug-in is worth this much trouble. And guess what: turns out getting a refund from UAD is incredibly complicated too!!! This is my first & last UAD purchase

The "Everything" Compressor
I think we all know what it is. If not, know it's definitely not "just another compressor." Amongst all its benefits, particularly striking is its excellent manipulation of snares and the drum buss. It's nasty when you need it to be, but goes out of its way to preserve snap and sizzle on snares especially when you require it. When you want something mangled however, it'll mangle it GOOD and proper! 100% worth watching and digesting a few videos on its use, this has a lot of excellent capability you'll really want to be familiar with. Absolutely awesome thing.

Jack of all trades
Super versatile and sounds great. Use on everything for whatever type of compression I need. If I could only choose one compressor to mix with for the rest of my days it would be the distressor.

First UA Plug-in
I must say I have been waiting for a single Distressor plugin for a while. Great Work UA I am very pleased with the simulation of the plugin. Having run it next to the hardware unit there is a small difference but not enough to say I won't be patching external hardware for the future. Bravo on a truly well-designed plug in that works well.
