My go to reverb
The EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverb is the first reverb I turn to especially on vocals though I do have all of the other UA reverb plugins and use them as well. It has that great classic reverb sound that I love and I've used it quite a bit over the years. And being in a small project studio, who has the room or money to amass a number of 4' X 8' sheets of metal!

Thanks to UA for all the plugin vouchers AND the great sale on this! $54 out-of-pocket, and it's a great compliment to my EMT 140 (and my gazillion OTHER reverb plugins.) I haven't had a chance to employ it on a project yet, but I know it will find a place soon. GREAT interface, easy to use, and its' own unique sound.

Sweet sounding
Luscious reverb and spectacular chorus. What's not to like? Not quite as easy to adjust as some more modern interfaces, but the sound is worth the limitations.

Sounds lovely
I'm a very great fan of reverbs and have some ones I like to use.
I was watching EMT for a while and, after test it few hours with some of my real mixes, I noticed the it sounds much better than my favorite Plate. I mean it is dense, warm, with nice resolution.
It sounds like a non digital. It sounds real. Good for a lot of things.
It's graphical interface is pretty, simple, fast and easy to use.
EMT now figures my session's Plate's Bus. My favorite reverb now.

Really useful
I haven't had it long, but i can say i love how it makes the highs sparkle. On hi-hats / open hats and synths it sounds amazing to me !

Simple and great
I think they hit this one out of the park.iMy budget was between this and the other offerings...224...AMS... and yes they are all different but this was flavor I wanted and it delivers.Its very unique in its simplicity and its hard to make it sound bad.

Best Reverb Ever
Since the 80s, I've always had a love hate relationship with reverb. I would start with about 20 percent effect, and keep reducing it until it was down to a choice between one percent and two percent. I use the EMT140 way more liberally and it provides a lushness that doesn't fight with the track.

For me, this is *the* reverb sound that I have been looking for. Vocals, drums, guitars? Covered. Special effects? Covered. Much smoother in nature than the 250 and more natural than anything else I've tried yet.

Worth a lot more
I have really never been blown away by a reverb before, but this managed it! It took about 15 minutes for the paramedics to get my jaw off of the floor and fit it back where it should have been.
You cannot get a bad sound from this reverb, and as long as you get the time parameters right, it will easily find a comfortable place in any mix.
Full and rich, I would highly recommend this bit of wizardry to anyone at all.

Perfect on Clap, tambourine and percussive sound !
I love reverb, I own the lexicon, the EMT plate and other reverb from UAD but the EMT 250 add something beautiful, clean and warm on Clap, tambourine and other sound that need some depth
It can be big or subtle, it's so easy to use and not harsh or bright !
I got it on special for 129 - 50$ = 75$
