Excellent color, and works AWESOME in the mastering chain. You can easily master to -6 LUFS incorporating this plugin.

This is THE Royal Variable Mu King. The tone this compressor delivers is incredible, it gives exceptional body in the low end and those highs come to the fore, it's great for sustained elements like vocals, bass, but don't be fooled, drums sound amazing, to the point where you can crush them and they still sound amazing. Jazz loves this compressor as much as I love UA. Thanks for this wonderful plugin. ❤️

The beauty of character and tone that the Fairchild collection provides is UNIQUE, it is impressive how it handles the sustain of the audio with those slow releases. Definitely the UA Fairchild emulation is ideal for vocals, bass and drums, giving it a punch without crushing the transients. Definitely a must have.

Although I’ve worked with an original hardware version of this compressor, this plugin definitely has a “vintage” sound/vibe. In my opinion, tone wise and behavior/response wise, it’s much better than the other plugin versions of the same emulation. The added features are also a great bonus.

It’s a Fairchild and it’s amazing
The Fairchild is a great compressor, legendary and this sounds like the hardware. If you aren’t familiar it will take a learning curve but being able to compress the center different from the side which is what made this thing famous is amazing, the tone and what it does to your music is worth it…..learn it use it and get it if you want great results

just put it with the default preset at last place on the master bus chain.

The Fairchild 670 . . . Wow!
Really, really pleased with how the Fairchild 670 plugin adds a new dimension to my voiceover tracks in my podcast as well as the mastering bus. It's very subtle, but discernibly wonderful! Like the icing and cherry atop a delicious cake.
