You've just entered the world of synthesis music ... this one is a must
What you need when you start in synthesis music ? A reliable, straightforward, easy to use synth with accurate modelled oscillators, creamy filters & snappy envelopes all implemented in a user friendly interface & PolyMax is genius for this. You have everything needed to understand the fundamental of synthesis. Both LED amp & filter envelope help you understand the goal of an envelope. You don't need to dive & get lost in sub menus. All is there ready to use. Last but not least, the sound of the analog-modeled oscillators are a faithful recreation of an era that you should all start with when you want to start in sound synthesis.

Spark plugin is stack on demo mode no matter what I do
Only works in Apollo. Ua connect asking to start demo but nothing happens.

Newbie to the LUNA game
Considering LUNA is free, the money for this bundle is a steal. Regarding the bundle: I can hear the extensions working but still have a lot to learn. I recently used it post-fader on the master. Have to say, far better than trying to figure all that out on my own in Pro Tools. LUNA and this bundle are perfect for thme newbie! Hands down. I’m on an M1 Mac running Ventura, if that’s helpful.

Luna Pro Bundle
I'm a lifetime Logic pro, Pro tools user: This is a very promising product however it is not ready for primetime. I started out with luna the free version, I purchased UAD-2 Quad ran into issues with that, even tho it was installed and working properly, support had me changing operating systems, which had nothing to do with the issue. The design of the program, I liked so I purchased the pro version, Now I,m still having issues data loss issues; worked a 4 Hour session exported a stereo mp3 for the client saved a bookmark, two hours later client calls, all you need to do is turn down the lead guitar and a background vox, pulled up luna got nothing, blank project explain that to your paying customer. Still like the layout tho.

Great sound, annoying to pay for it if you own Vision Channel Strip
Nothing to add on the sound that hasn’t been said already. I only bought it to get the Console Emulation as I own the Vision Channel strip. I’m annoyed to buy something I already own, I should have gotten it for free hence the 3 stars.

This pulls off the organic plate reverb vibe very convincingly. It's very easy to seat into a mix, and seating reverb into a mix is often a challenge when working itb.
Protip: don't just use this for the classic vocal plate sound, but also try out the shortest or near-shortest reverb times on various sources. A little dab does a nice job of putting bone-dry recordings into a large studio space.
One thing is for sure, when eating dried fruits, and nuts, and other trail-mix fodder, if you then slap a mic on yourself, you now get to eat off of a classy virtual plate in your headphones.

UAD > competition
There are a million competing Pultec emulations out there. Most of them will get the job done as far as EQing things goes. But as far as using them like one uses the hardware, for their extra special sauce and gentle shaping, the UAD's are leader of the pack. You'll notice it within seconds of playing with it. They are also a pleasure to use, don't wreck the integrity of my signal, and the GUI is the best Pultec GUI out there. I use these all the time, for every mix.

Luna Pro is a great sounding and very user friendly daw. Neve summing emulation is excelent.

EASY to program
The presets that come with it are good starting points. Spending a few minutes to to make them your own really transforms it into something special. By dialing back the effects and tweaking the envelopes slightly I now have a great collection of playable patches. If you want long-evolving, one-note weirdo sounds that require 90 modulation sources, this one is not the best option.
