Massive Passive pleasures
There isn't much to say aside from go and download this unit, throw it on the master strip after your compressor somewhere and start cutting and adding frequencies until you smile! This adds enough color to my track to keep me happy. I use this with Brainworx V3 so V3 cuts, cleans and adds all the goodness. They work great as a team for measuring and coloring my track.

Superb EQ
I don't have the real thing, but this EQ plug-in is different from anything I have ever used. Clear and magical.
Like most of UAD plugins, the interface needs an update for better suit retina displays: everything is so small. I can hardly read the frequencies. But it has nothing to do with the sound.

Very smooth EQ
This was recommended by a friend and I liked it right away when I demoed the Manley Massive Passive EQ. I had a live recording mastering project that needed a lot of help and this did the job. I ran two instances in series to get enough bands to zoom in on all the frequencies that required attention. I really like the using the cut/boost on/off switches to quickly compare the sound of a band of EQ that you are tweaking. I am glad to have the two versions which are very useful. My friend steered my right on this plugin.

The only "-" of the plugin is to not have a button to make it real & racked lol. Smooth, effective, amazing low end.

Nice One...
A very nice Mastering Eq. I use the Hardware on my Mastering sessions years ago, and i find that the Hardware has more Mojo, but i must say, this plug in is good enough to find the Way into my Mastering Channel....btw a good place for this plug in.
My wish for all UAD plug ins in the future....resizable GUI`s!

Great Sheen For Mastering
Used this EQ on several new singles in the Mastering chain. Great plugin for adding some cool heft and sheen to finished mixes!

Works wonder on my Master Bus

crystal clear
This EQ is an amazing crystal clear sounding tool. I love it, I mastered with the original and I can say to have it as a plugin is so great in my workflow, cause there`s only a bit of mojo missing to the analog gear. And also to use it in mixing is an advantage. The only negativ point is the DSP Power, it need`s a bit to much for using it on solo tracks. On the Bus it`s perfect.

Extremely Useful and Great Sounding EQ
I don't know anything about the hardware unit other than things I've read so I can't speak on the similarities between the two. I can say that this is one of the best EQs that I own now. I have been using it on all busses and the master bus as well. I love how the EQ can tighten up the bottom and open up the top end beautifully. I don't have a problem with DSP because I usually set it where I want it and print the tracks to save power. Since I've been using UAD plugins this has become part of my process and I find that committing is helpful in saving time. I own a handful of the other UAD plugs and I can honestly say that they are all excellent!! The best in my arsenal.
