I demo'd last night and when I tell you the richness that comes through is amazing, So I have a TLM 170r ---> ART PRO VLA PRE---> Apollo Twin X. I was comparing between an Avalon 737(already own), Manly Pre, and the 1084 I wanted to try the 1073 again but already used it. I am so happy with my vocals, then I come on the website today and it's on Sale ha-ha. My vocal tone can be a bit brittle at times but this 1084 makes it sound so smooth and also clear. It really gives professional style vocals.

Very upset, bought this and 11 other plug-ins in a 6+6 bundle and they’re showing as inactive. As well as my studio+ bundle plugins being inactive. Very disappointed.

I was previously happy using the Neve 1073 for my voice over recordings, till I tried the 1084. I know people say it's supposed to be the same basic preamp, just with finer EQ control. But it's not. Even with flat/default EQ on both, the 1084 has a lovely crispness and richness to the sound that the 1073 simply doesn't have. I've never used the 1073 since. Love this preamp.

AS HARD AS IT IS FOR ME TO ADMIT SINCE I'VE BEEN IN LUV WITH THE 1073 PREAMP FOR SO LONG, THIS ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER!!! KILLER PREAMP, GET IT!
