Neve 1073
After I got my apollo, everyone said this was the MUST HAVE plug in! so i waited until it was on sale and bought it! I have yet to try it as a unison pre, but i love it as a mixing tool! glad that it has the output knob.

More Neve magic...
The 1081 plugin had been my main "go to" EQ for sometime now (and with amazing results!) but now with the addition of the 31102 there is Neve magic abound! Pure classic British tone but with a different but versatile valuable colour. Tight, warm and glowing, and so great for rock! Hard to go wrong with this one, perhaps the most under appreciated EQ in Universal Audio's vertual offerings.

This very handy friend will give your tracks not only a analog Finnish it also allows you to create a trademark sound on your personal tracks. You will be able to sound "expensive" as well as outstanding. Usable on doors and of course on every single tracks doesn't matter what style or sound you are creating. On of the best EQ ever! Let's do music this fellow will guide you through it trust me!

The Neve 1073 Preamp with my Sterling ST55 microphone sounds amazing. It's much fuller than before. Great product.

Think of it as firmware
I have an Apollo Twin Solo, so I primarily use UAD plugins for tracking and on the 2-buss. For tracking, the 1073 in Unison mode really adds a subtle 3 dimensionality and a definite mojo. I attribute this to the way Unison affects how the Apollo hardware responds, so it's as much firmware as software. You will never get this from an all-sotware plugin solution. It makes a difference! I love this thing.

Since I got it, there's a Neve 1081 in every single track of my daw while mixing, as first or second insert. And I'd never do without anymore.

NEVE sheen is incredible
I read some reviews about the Neve 1073 sheen but didn't understand t until I demo'd this plugin (which I bought 10 minutes later). Incredible warm, singing high ends. The entire eq is fantastic, I'm new to UAD and digital mixing in general so this has been a bit of a game changer for me. Couldn't be happier.

1073 preamp
I have just started to play with this plugin, but I am already impressed with how I took prerecorded drum tracks and put it through the 1073 and it made the toms and kick much more punchy. I can't wait to use it on tracking

Probably the best strip out there
It's a thick, but balanced sound. The Neve sound, with more flexibility and options and in a full channel strip form.
A more traditional compressor than the API Vision, since it's a separate gain and threshold.
Between this and the API, I feel like there's nothing I can't do.

This emulation is just great!!! The strength that the voice comes in on the recording is amazing! The EQ is way to accurate, like I said just awesome. Must have!!
(Only would appreciate if someone from the customer service would have answered when I asked if they'd fix the price down, cause I bought it for 179 and then 1 week after 119. Could have saved money!)

I Love It!
This is a great plugin. I do not have experience with the real hardware, but I do know that when i slap this on a vocal and find the sweet spot for given vocal this thing is a beast. I like the sound of it so that i even use it in the mastering process sometimes. UAD is awesome when it comes to everything they do! TOP OF THE LINE!

Keep it simple
Just few knobs, just few parameters, just the right sound and just a well emulated Neve...do you need more????? Just enjoy it.
