Unbelievably Accurate!
First of all, I have done dozens of sessions at Ocean Way Hollywood for the past 3 years. I've spent a lot of time in both studio A/B and when I saw this plugin I thought "yeah right, this gotta be a joke!" HOWEVER, after playing with it and comparing it side by side to other tracks that were actually recorded at Ocean Way, I could not believe my ears! Oh boy, with my eyes closed I felt like I was back at the studio. This is an amazing product! It will make any of your takes to sound unbelievably accurate to one of the best studios in the world. BUY IT NOW! You will not regret doing it!

Having a virtual live room is a beautiful thing
Best plug I have ever purchased, I use it on all my mixes. Love it on string sections, really brings out the magic of a true live take. I've also been using it to open up my guitars. I track through an iso cab due to volume regulations and the remic feature absolutely transforms the cab to something I'm not afraid to keep in a final mix. That confidence is worth the price alone, good show UA, good show.

Swiss Army knife of room sounds!
I use this on almost every mix I do, always on the drums and been using it more to replicate room sounds for vocals , horns, and acoustic guitars. Does something different than reverbs, it adds depth a reverb doesn't.

Go for it , it goes for you
Definitely this plug-in brought unlimited colours and enveloppes to my mix . I forgot for a while that I am in a "home studio" and felt myself projected in a more sophisticated world of "Takes". It reflects more and more the professionalism and awareness of UAD people to offer the best.

This is a very nice fit for my rig
Our "Family" room does triple duty as tracking, control and TV viewing area. The basement worked great for disco sounding drums and pretty well for lead vocals, but I really missed the ambient sound of my old tracking room. After hearing the recorded examples of OWS on the UA site, I had high hopes for what OWS might do for my situation. I invited a couple of drummers over and tracked a 4-piece kit with every drum close-mic'ed and a pair of overheads. Afterwards we rushed to the other side of the room, played back what we recorded through OWS, and I smiled! I don't have a clue what the real Ocean Way sounds like. I do know that since I probably won't move the studio again, I am so happy that UA and OWS released the OWS plug-in. Thanks UA!

Dear UAD Team,
i just can say that i am very happy with the Ocean Way Plug In. It makes exactly, what i expected and also more, than i expected.
The ambience in my mixes sounds more natural and also in combination with algorithmic reverbs Ocean Way works great.
And I´m surprised about the remike part of the plug in. Never heard that in such a quality. Very useful.
Just one Question. This was the second time i tried to pay and to use the coupons, that were 75 Dollars, whn i ordered.
What can i do to use the Coupons next time, when i buy something. Gimmie a hint, please.

Ocean Way Studios Plug-In
It that I looked for! Fast and intuitive. Great for adding width using the panning.Brightness, and space are independently adjustable All the real things that happen in a room...can be achieved and way more. It's nice to be able to tweak mics, distance, etc... Simply and cool!

Ocean Way "ALL THE WAY"
A++This plug-in was so exceptional that I reopened mixes that were ready to be sent for mastering so that I could remix: drums/guitars/group vox-- anything that would be enhanced by a real room sound. I've used combinations of rooms, delays, and reflection engines for a while now, but the realism here is bordering on ridiculous. For the vast majority of project studios we, out of necessity, try to record things dry and add ambience digitally. A great room always separated the "real studios" from the basement project studio. This plug-in closes the gap. If you're using a great front end (mic/pre/converter) this plug will help you capitalize on your investment by adding a marvelous room.

Incredible round sound
I used the Ocean Way Studio Plug-in for a production of voice and piano, using a digital piano and generating room sound by bypassing the piano's own reverb and sending it to Ocean Way. This created so much body to the sound, I could hardly believe this was still my digital piano and not a real Bösendorfer Grand. I also used the Plug-in for the vocals, where the result was equally stunning. I can recommend this fantastic tool very warmly to anyone producing acoustic music, even if you already have a great sounding environment. This Plug-in will give an extra touch of beauty and professionalism to your production!

Very versatile plug-in
I just love this one! My main use of this plug-in would definitely be on drums. You can get so many different characters on the same drum kit just by switching between the different microphones, microphone placements OR drum kit / instrument placement.
If you´re recording allot of drums and don´t have a great acoustic room to record them in, then this might be the plug-in you've been looking for.

awesome for Drummer
These really make Drummer in Logic Pro X sound awesome! Haven't tried it on much else yet. But it really shines on sampled drums.

A true must-have plug
There's not much to say: I just did a little quickie folm for a client, and the Ocean Way plug made my pre-production studio sound like a very expensive studio recording. When you can spend just a few hundred and sound like every recording cost you thousands more to produce -- that's a must-have tool.

the way to place a reverb
this plugin is incredible! you can do a lot o things until you find the best reverb you need for your mix. pretty easy to use and fast to reach a good result.

OWS - A revolutionary tool
At first I was very skeptical about this guy. I said: Ok and now what? One more room reverb... Ok, lets try it...
After some hours I realized that by using it in REVERB mode, it's simply THE BEST plugin room reverb (compared with great hardware units). It's just amazing!
But OWS it's not only this. Experiment (as much as better) REMIC mode and you will see... or better, you will hear. Great depth manipulation and instruments' separation in the mix. A revolutionary tool!

Ocean Way or the Highway!
I was looking for a reverb that was unique and easy to use for a quick demo mix. I started the 14 day demo, and never looked back. This reverb was not only a great sounding tool, but fun to tweak. That may sound weird, but it is true. Got a great deal, used a coupon. What could be better?

Ocean Way to Heavy
Let me start by saying the product is pretty cool. I use it constantly. With that said, my main system is an iMac i7 with 8 cores @ 3.4 Ghz and 32Gb Ram. 2 thunderbolts, 2 800 Firewires, running 2 - UAD-2 DUO's. I have a lot more outboards and pre's, Hot Swap TB raid's and a second system. But this is a review for the Ocean Way Studio plugin. My point - I have ample capacity. The plugin is heavy in DSP. The most efficient way to utilize the plugin is strictly on a Bus, and group your sends. You may get an audio engine failure if you use it on individual tracks. Also you may have to disable the plugin if utilized and recording other tracks, you may have latency. I own Bird Dog Records and running the systems and plugins all the time. - g

Many Things to Love
In the 6 months I've been using this plugin, it has become a staple for my drum sounds. The variety of sounds I can extract is amazing, and the simple interface is idea. It's ALMOST everything I need. I wish it has automatic gain matching for A/B'ing to more intuitively compare. Otherwise I LOVE it.
