ESSENTIAL for home and project studios
If you have a home, project, or mobile studio this plug-in is LIFE-CHANGING. You can finally just damp the s*** out of bad rooms, focus solely on mic placement relative to the source, record everything DRY, DRY, DRY, and still get a living, breathing, spatial recording.
These rooms sound so amazing I have all but stopped using reverb. The big, choral rooms with mid and far mics pumped are great, but it is the subtle, small stuff that really adds up: the amp corridor; a mid mic on a medium room for solo vocal; a hint of far mic on brass sections.
Also, if you use a lot of virtual instruments STOP READING THIS and buy the plug-in now. It can stop you sounding like a corny fool IMMEDIATELY

Ocean Way Studio Plug-in
This one took me a little getting use to but once I fully understood the concept behind it who would think that you can sing or play and place yourself inside one of these famous studio's the more I play with it the more it blows my mind

Makes the home studio sound like a Million $$$
I had considering sticking Ocean Way in my Cart for the longest time, I always passed. I thought all my existing "reverbs" were plenty, and whatever acoustic space I wanted to emulate, I would simply be able to do it. That was before.
That changed recently. I decided to finally take the plunge on this plugin.
Having a home studio with really "dry" or "small" acoustics, this plugin is a godsend. Used as a reverb or as a re-mic, those dry-ish "home studio" raw tracks end up sounding like they were recorded in a true multimillion dollar space. Especially for drums! Holy crap. These faux acoustics are truly REAL sounding. Amazing. Sounds very very "expensive". Changed everything. Part of my workflow forever now...

Complex and very powerful
This plugin can do things for drums that I've never heard from anything else. Complex, detailed and capable of enormous sonic breadth. A remarkable plugin. The re-micing feature is stunning.

Simply amazing
It just can't get much better than this. It it simply amazing. I love it for the rooms, for the microphone selection and -yes- the presets. Just go with them and you're all set. The price of the plugin ist serious money for an amateur musician like me, but once you have it, the value is overwhelming.

Room modeling perfection
Title of the review says it all. I haven't really used it as a send, only on inserts....but the sound of this plug as a room modeling tool is perfection. Primarily using it on sampled instruments in the box, i.e. pianos, strings, drums, etc. Haven't tried it on something that I've recorded from the outside world...

incredible what a room can do to instruments and voices.
especially the mike positioning seems so realistic and lets me create spaces in music I always thought were missing in mixes. very useful tool !

Genuinely love this plug
Soon as I tested this out it became my default reverb plug in. I use it on programmed drums, keys, vocals.. Everything really. I don't know the sound of ocean way studios, that doesn't concern me. But I do know when a reverb sounds good and this thing has improved the quality of my recordings by so much with such little ease. I use a separate instance of this plugin on each mix buss ( drums, vocals, gusts, etc.) and it sounds wonderful.

Unlike anything
I realize that, at it's heart, this is little more than a complex convolution reverb, but usability, there is nothing else like it. I know that if I really need to put something "in a space", I can usually go here first and be totally satisfied.https://my.uaudio.com/store/shopping_cart.php

Simply fantastic!
I have a small home studio. My live room has Acoustic Foam up to cut down on reflections. This is great except I lose all vibe (especially on drums) when I record anything in my live room. That’s why The Ocean Way Studio plug-in is so amazing. When added, it just transforms your sounds into something magical that brings your recordings into another realm. For me I have not experience anything like this plug-in. Demo’d it, bought it!

Pretty amazing.
The room verb is very nice to have for loads of sources, but what I really love is messing with different mic sounds - even better than an eq in many ways, a really easy way to alter the sound of most any dry recording.

I thought this plug-in was amazing before, but the more I use it, the more I realise just how good it is! It's the small room sounds that just sound out it's level of class. For that tight sound with top studio class and sparkle, it just delivers. Love, love, LOVE it. Probably the one plug I couldn't live without.

I've tracked in both the Rooms , the
Ocean Way Room Simulator doesn't
sound like a Reverb unit ,
It sounds like microphones in
those rooms.. same Sonic Vibrations..

One of the few plugins I give 5 stars.
If you want a spectacular sounding space, this is the one. I've never heard of Ocean Way before this plugin but hot damn it just makes everything come to life.
