My go to Reverb from now on...
This is my go to Reverb now! Period! Okay this and the Lexicon 224. The AMS is so magnificent and has so much character under the hood that you'd be surprised how much it can help to make a boring sound so full and lush. The CHORUS is also great and I love the NONLINEAR REVERB as well as it can create some really interesting textures in the mix.
Nice on Vocals, nice on Guitars. I use it on a ton of stuff and it's all just great!! If you want MOJO in your mix this is it!
Grab this! Seriously!

definietly a "studio standard thing"...
If you hear this reverb, you will "remember" most of the preset sounds from the music of the last decades. This is definitely a "studio standard" and serves reverbs as you hear it on many of the greatest records. On the other hand, the sound is "Limited" in flexibility compared to software based solutions today (i.e. limited, but very musically selected IRs) - so possibly not the prime reverb for any experimental sound designer on the cutting edge, but in the daily studio uage it will serve a reverb on the highest level. Don't waste money for the "real thing" which i still available on the second hand market for a "reasonable price" - this plugin does the job as well and without any "battery empty" hole or regular servicing.

Very good!
A great reverb with its own personality much cheered and missed! Well done!

Sounds very good
Indeed. But I don't know what happened: just before I left for my live show in London March 8th it says that the demo was expired. Because I was not using this particular plug-in in this performance I did not want to try anything that would cause problems with the other UAD plug-ins I was using. I just re-dragged the Authorization over the icon and now it works.

Ambience program is lush and clear, so useful
I tried to avoid UAD (not as portable as native, expensive, limited instances) but their reverb plugins have now made the system both necessary and extremely fun. At first you think "oh I already have reverbs that can do this" and then you stumble across something like the "Ambience" program in the RMX16 and you understand why they bothered to recreate the unit in the first place. The tail of the ambience program on electric guitars, for example, is incredibly lush and ethereal while still maintaining clarity. The ambience program would likely be useful on almost any source that needs to be more ambient without washing the source away. For music where reverb is *heavily* featured this program is essential.

Love it!
I have a number of hardware and software reverbs and have always loved the AMS reverb...but for one reason or another had not purchased a hardware version...the UAD version is great...good replication of the origional. I've spend countless hours with the real thing and this one ......unlike my friends unit, does not need to be in the shop and hope parts are available...a very distinct reveb...you'll love it!

Great emulation of this unit
Long clean tails. Amazing plates for snares and vocals. Easy to use. Loads of useful presets to get you where you need to be faster.

UAD AMS RMX 16
One of the best plugins I ever seen. I have hardware and use it on every mixes. Nonlin for snare, Ambience for vocal. UAD AMS RMX 16 gives me the same sound. Thank you UA, God bless you.

Completely worth it
I love the sound of the 80s and man is this unit fun. It sounds so amazing, like sprinkling magic into every stem I run through it. I've seen some complaints about the UI but it seems intuitive to me, I can quickly dial in settings. Just so fun, wow. Thanks UA for producing this.

Just awesome
I mix on a real one of these all the time and this emulation is fantastic. I gave it 4 stars because the hardware unit is a bit darker, but to be honest, the emulation with an EQ sounds pretty much identical. It does that RX16 thing, so you should know what that is before you buy it. Good job on this one UA..

The Immaculate Regeneration
Haunted by echoes of Martin Hannett. Transmission of Digital Shadowplay At a Later Date is the Heart and Soul of The Eternal Atmosphere. Do not Passover Decades of Insight to The Sound of Music as Chance Autosuggestion offers Insight.

Finally!
Probably my favorite reverb from back in my analog days. I've been waiting for someone to do this - thank god it was UA! Phenomenal. Sounds just like I remember it (without the fan noise). Maybe even a touch smoother.

Almost perfect
I would put 5 stars if those two things were present:
The possibility to load the different firmware version of the presets of the reverb (some machine don't have the exact same algorithm)
The emulation of the AD/DA audio path which is really important for me. Some people may find that not so important, but I love the noise characteristic of the orignal machine.
The possibility to turn that feature on and off for those who don't want the sound of the AD/DA.
Apart from that this is perfect, I love this reverb and couldn't live without it now.

Some things just have it
The interface is nostalgically not-so-intuitive and this plugin is a bit of a CPU hog but it's just so lush and full of character that the minuses are well outweighed by the pluses.

RMX 16, the return
Very happy to find again one of my favorite reverbs, which followed me from Le Château Studios in France. This reverb is essential, as for me the EMT 250 and the Lexicon 224.

Buy it
What can I say; this is just like the hardware. Worth every penny.

long warm reverb
Very nice warm and long sounding reverb. I don't know the original hardware module but for me this is a very useful reverb that is different from all the other reverbs I own.

This takes me back!
I haven't used a hardware RMX16 in over 15 years.
The UAD AMS RMX16 is like jumping into a sonic Tardis. It certainly is bigger on the inside than the outside. (forgive me, I just watched Craig Ferguson last night)
There are not many reasons for me to buy another reverb but this one is excellent and provides a long missed flavor that other software reverbs have tried to capture and failed.

Pure Reverb, as an old fine wine...
I was lucky to have the chance to work with the original hardware and I was amazed from the first moment I touch it. When I heard the plugin I get the feeling of the hardware that i had. Great fat sound familiar to our ears through great productions that we all love.
