    Excellent for Single Coil

    Tried it for various single coil pickups, sounds great. Better than most amp plug-ins.

    Solid Amp Sim

    This is one of the better amp sims I have tried, actually sounds like a real amp without any weird artifacts or harshness in the upper end. I have never owned an ODS, have owned many similar in that vein ala vintage tweaked Fenders and this plug in brought a smile to my face. Makes tracking so much easier if I can plug straight in and play. The omission of spring reverb is a big bummer, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Spring reverb is a big part of the sound of this amp IMO and while there are workarounds, they dropped the ball on that one. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend

    Simply Amazing

    As Amp emulation go this is truly amazing. It is now my 'go to' . I'm not a guitar wizard. So this little beauty gives me instant satisfaction. It's so quick to get a nice sound and the cab options are so versatile and impressive. I'm remixing some old tracks at the moment and this amp has taken my old electric tracks to another level.

The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to.
