Three Expertly Emulated Plates
The EMT 140 plug-in offers three distinct flavors of the classic EMT hardware. Plates A and B model the original EMT electronics system, for which the plates themselves had intentionally not been tuned in some time. Conversely, Plate C — the most full-frequency plate — uses the more modern Martech electronics which had just been fully serviced.
New Controls, More Flexibility
WIth “plug-in only” features such as Balance, Width, and Modulation, you’re able to harness the EMT 140 in ways previously unavailable with the hardware. Pinpoint a mono snare reverb with the Balance control, spread out strings with the Width function, or use the Modulation feature to add subtle shimmer, or an intense reverb trail, to a lead vocal. By adding these controls to the original EMT circuit, you’re afforded tons of plate reverb textures for all of your sources.
“The EMT 140 plug-in is Unbelievable. Love it. Use it all the time.”
– Vance Powell (Jack White, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs)
“Having the EMT 140 plug-in, it’s beautiful, I don’t have to commit to printing the plate.”
– Darrell Thorp (Beck, Radiohead, Charlotte Gainsbourg)
“The EMT 140 plug-in is perfect to add some warmth and size to a lead vocal. ”
– Joe Chiccarelli (Jason Mraz, Beck, The Strokes, Morrissey)
“The UAD Pultec Pro, along with the EMT 140, are the two main reasons why I can't work without a UAD card in my system.”
– Fab Dupont (Shakira, Santigold)
“I use the UAD EMT 140 Plate Reverb on everything.”
– Hans Zimmer (Dark Knight, Gladiator)

First reverb plugin I purchased after getting my Apollo Twin X interface. Very very good.

Crispy and clean.
This is my new go to for reverb, I highly recommend it.
Best Reverb Ever
This is the reverb you were looking for, it just sounds expensive
My favourite Plate reverb
Lots of options, lots of presets, and easy to use. Its great, great, great, super great on drums. As i said, my favourite Plate Reverb. Get it, use it, enjoy it, and be happy with the results!!!!
i like it
it's just like Magic
Classic Reverb. Highly recommended.
The best 140 emulation out there!
Corrupts Delay Compensation in PT
Consistently corrupts the delay compensation in my PT sessions. Pretty disappointed in UAD's lack of resolution to this issue after all of the money I've invested into using their hardware and software.
Lush and vibrant
This reverb (actually, three reverbs!) offers you a lush and vibrant palette of sounds as you start to feel its controls and find its sweet spots. It's my new go-to tool for just about everything from synths to drums and from guitars to vocals! Instant classic, highly recommended.

Sound beautiful in Vocal
Versatile, low DSP plate reverb.
The EMT 140 is good with just about any instrument/bus. Guitars, piano, drums, banjo... doesn't use much DSP compared to other UAD reverbs like Capitol, Lexicon 480, AMS etc.
This plugin gives vocals a classic sheen of elegance. Sounds beautiful on acoustic guitars too.
very natural plate reverb. complement very well with the 250 and the lexicon 480. sound very good on guitars
The best plate I own
This plug is lush, but it also melds perfectly with any source, and sits great in the mix without the need to EQ. Compared to this the Waves Abbey Road plates sound tubby as hell.
I Love This Thing!
A work horse for me. Have used it on all kinds of instruments and vocals, and it performs just as expected!
This is a great sounding plug in. It's authentic and adds a fantastic sheen to a mix or single track - will use it a lot!!!
