UA Expands Virtual Instrument Lineup with Anthem Analog Synthesizer Plug-In

Native UAD plug‑in delivers bold sounds that hit hard with analog-modeled filter, lo‑fi effects, and inspiring sequencer for modern music producers

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA • June 17th, 2025 — Universal Audio Inc. (UA), a worldwide leader in audio production tools, is proud to introduce Anthem Analog Synthesizer, a UAD plug-in that delivers the bold textures, fat bass, and gritty character of classic analog synths — reimagined for modern music creators.

Available natively for Mac and PC in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, Anthem Analog Synthesizer lets producers craft enormous bass tones and expressive leads, all without having to use complex plug-in chains. With its analog-modeled filter, lo-fi effects, and inspiring step sequencer for endless creativity, Anthem puts bold, analog sounds in the hands of modern producers.

“With Anthem, we wanted to make a synth that didn’t just emulate vintage hardware — we wanted it to inspire creativity,” says Lev Perrey, VP of Product at Universal Audio. “It feels analog in all the right ways: fast, expressive, and alive.”

Joining Universal Audio’s growing collection of synth plug-ins, including PolyMAX and Opal Morphing Synthesizer, Anthem runs natively on Mac and Windows without the need for UA hardware. It’s also included in UAD Spark — UA’s plug-in subscription — giving subscribers access to Anthem alongside a collection of over 40 vintage compressors, tape machines, reverbs, and more.
