Go Beyond Traditional Multiband Compression
The Sonnox Oxford Dynamic EQ plug-in gives you high-level control over the frequency content of your audio, helping you tackle the most demanding production challenges whether you’re mixing or mastering. The Sonnox Oxford Dynamic EQ plug-in is an excellent alternative to multiband compression, allowing you to sculpt and shape your sources with unending precision.
Craft Dynamic Performances
The Oxford Dynamic EQ plug-in gives you the best of both worlds — the precision of a static EQ, and the responsiveness and flexibility of a multiband processor. It also lets you dynamically shape the tone of your music without any of the phase artifacts or latency issues common to multiband compressors.
Shape with Fully Overlapping Bands
Unlike multiband compressors, which use crossovers to rigidly split up the frequency spectrum, the Oxford Dynamic EQ’s five frequency bands can overlap fluidly, giving you greater flexibility for both character modification and corrective processing.
Get Precise with Onset Detection
Set the EQ processing to be triggered by transients with Onset Detection, and get a new level of precision for boosting or cutting percussive sources and even for controlling vocal sibilance.
Take Total Control
Get unprecedented flexibility with the Oxford Dynamic EQ and choose per band stereo, mono, or mid/side operation, frequency-specific or onset detection or both, upward or downward compression or expansion, and independently adjustable side chain filters.
EQ with Ease
Despite all its power and tweakability, the Oxford Dynamic EQ is as easy to dial in as a traditional EQ plug-in, and its user interface is logical, intuitive, and non-intimidating, whether you’re an experienced pro or a studio novice.
What They Say
Using the [UAD] Sonnox Oxford EQ I'm able to get the smoothest vocal tones imaginable...it really makes sitting a vocal in a mix easy and fun.

It was immediately obvious the difference between the TDM and the UAD version. The [UAD Sonnox Oxford EQ] improved graphics and four filter types behave and sound much more like I remember them on the console.
Jeff Bova
Celine Dion, Jordan Sparks, Katy Perry
I used to mix on the big Sony Oxford Digital console at the Hit Factory in the ’90s, and I loved the EQ's on that console. This plug-in is that, all over again. Amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.
Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.
UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorization of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
