| I used the 1176SE on the main vocal, with the preset "Major Vocal Limiter". I love the warmth I get on the breath. I didn't change anything from the original preset, except the output volume. I used another instance of 1176SE on the backing vocals bus. The settings for that are: attack around 6, release 5, ratio 4. On the main mix I use the LA2A in limit mode to give it a little analog taste. I use Realverb Pro as the main ambience reverb, and the Pultec Pro on the brass tracks to give them bright and sweet highs. |
