1176SE Classic Limiting Amplifier Plug-In

Ultra-Fast Attack Time and Classic FET Style Compression of the Original, Now in a DSP-Optimized Plug-In

The 1176SE is derived from the 1176LN. Its algorithm has been revised in order to provide sonic characteristics similar to the 1176LN but with significantly less DSP usage. It is provided to allow "1176LN-like sound" when DSP resources are limited.

    I usually set my release time on this fast with the knob all the way clockwise. It's a goto for adding aggression to a track like an effect, but can equally be used as an audio bouncer. This one puts less of a hit on the dsp, so it's much more efficient. … Read more

    The 1176SE is a tool i cannot do without. It's absolutley fantastic for adding or subtracting punch and/or attack. It's brilliant for saturation on your kicks and snares.     This little plugin keeps amazing me. What it can do with an acoustic guitar, a vocal track and so on. It's subtile, but it works. The sound stands out in the mix without beeing to loud.
