Support Report: What's the Deal?
By Casey Schultheis

What's the deal? How does the current UA promo work, and how much can I gain from buying more than one UAD-1 PAK or buying a new SOLO/110 or 610 Mic Pre and DI Box? What do I get if I register it? Let's run through some examples:

Ned owned a UAD-1 Studio PAK. He went to his local dealer and got one more UAD-1e Express PAK card and a SOLO/110 Precision Class A Mic Pre and DI Box. When Ned registers his SOLO, a UAD$100 voucher for the my.uaudio.com online store will automatically be added to his account. If Ned registers a second, third or fourth UAD card (or even goes beyond four cards by starting a second group), he will receive and additional UAD$100 voucher for each and every new card he registers. The Express PAK comes with a UAD$100 voucher, so for purchasing a Solo mic pre and an Express pak as an additional card Ned will receive a total of $300 in plug-in vouchers.  Provided, of course, Fred does all this prior to 11:59 PDT August 31, 2006, when all these fabulous promos run out.
Dave owns a UAD-1 Mackie card. He bought a UAD-1 Ultra PAK and a UAD-1 Project PAK card online and also picked up a SOLO/610 Classic Vacuum Tube Mic Pre and DI Box. When Dave registers his SOLO he will get a UAD$100 voucher; when Dave registers his second andthird UAD cards, he will receive two UAD$100 vouchers for the my.uaudio.com online store. Dave has now received a total of $300 in plug-in vouchers by buying and registering his new UA products before 11:59 PDT August 31, 2006.  Good on ya, Dave!
Casey owns our four TDM plugs and just got a new Mac that has PCIe slots. Because he owns a Digidesign HD-1 and loves UA plugs so much, he has decided to take advantage of the TDM-Cross-Grade and buy a UAD-1e Express PAK and an Expert PAK card. When Casey registers his Expert PAK, which comes with a UAD$750 voucher, he will receive free UAD-1 authorizations for the UA plug-ins he had on TDM--the 1176, LA-2A compressors as well as the Pultec and Cambridge EQs-plus one additional FREE plug-in with a value up to $199 as part of our TDM crossgrade program.  In addition, when he registers his Express PAK, he'll receive two additional UAD$100 vouchers-one comes with the Express PAK and the second for registering an additional card. So, Casey receives in total, $950 ($750 + $100 + $100) in plug-in vouchers plus a free plug-in with a value up to $199, provided he does all this prior to 11:59 PDT August 31, 2006. Way to go Casey!
