    Versatile Synth but not perfect.

    It's an ok synth with decent presets included but It is overshadowed by Synths such as Arturia Pigments which I tend to use more than the Opal.

    There is no midi mapping available so unable to assign to control knobs on my Komplete Kontrol A49 or Arturia Mini lab 3 midi keyboards which is disappointing.

    Still good value when on offer and fairly easy to use.

    Great balance between CPU usage and complexity of the plugin

    I'm stuck with a second-hand cheap laptop and Opal did wonderful things for me, yet to crush it

    I only tasted a little, but...

    For the moment, I have only tried some of the presets, but they were very, very pleasing. I would label them "experimental ambient" : just what I am looking for presently. Will I find the courage to roll up my sleeves and try programming my own sounds ?
