It is my necessary tool
This is one of the eq tools I have to use, and I really like this eq plugin. Always classic. . The uad version is better than other versions and the dyeing effect is better. awesome!

Must Have....
My "To Go" for Vocals and Acoustic Instrument, like Guitars, Cellos ect. Also for some Bass Tracks if I want more smooth compression.

What should i say, anyone likes it
For my ears the gray-beige one sonds best. The other two ones are ok.
Would be much nicer if there is only one plugin that can be switched over or behind a hidden panel there where dials. And a little more tube sound please.
As always the plugins are bandlimited (the non legacy one)

Essential software
Been using this for a week or so and it has become an essential insert onto all of my guitar tracks. using it with Slate VMR and a tape emulator it still manages to add a warmth and depth to guitar tracks that really glues the sound into the overall mix.

Did some guitar tracking recently with the legacy in real time on the console. With that and the Pultec, I had to do basically nothing to the channel in the mix. 5 stars!

Fairchild, the smooth of the chosen child
The Fairchild is the compressor with the most smoothest tube sound available, it’s the best sound that I have got out of any compressor plug in. Absolutely awesome, thanks UAD

1176 classic limiter collection
This really warms up anything I throw at it. Vocals are warm and full, bass has dynamics from clean to outstanding distortion depending on which 1176 you use. They all add a great presence.

If you are looking for super transparent compression or limiting....move on down the road, these are BEASTS and they sound like it! They go from super-grabby to subtle but there is no denying the character these plug-ins bring.

First thing after purchasing my first UAD product was upgrade analog classics to the pro bundle. And don’t get me wrong the legacy UAD plugs sound great. But the UAD2 versions feel real. Respond and react like real gear. I write music for TV and radio commercials. And this is a god send. And the capability to use them on every channel of my projects is powerful in itself. Sadly when other brands emulate this type of equipment they do a much better job on the GUI than the sound. I can’t get over how real and musical this software behaves. Get it now. Best move you can make is upgrading the stock plugins.
