My favorite compressor for bass guitar.
I love this collection, but I especially love the grey version. It just adds so much warmth and fatness, which I think is perfect for a bass tone! If you push them hard they will distort, but in a pleasant way, they are just wonderful. I had some vouchers from UAD and the collectuon was on sale so I ended up getting these compressors for only $24! What an amazing deal for such amazing compressors!

Better than the legacy version
Excellent musical equalizers, with its typical characteristic coloration. With it you can highly increase the high frequencies without appearance the sharpness and rigidity in the sound. All sounds softly and musically.

Very obvious upgrade
The bundled version is solid and gives you a taste of the 1176, however, the 3 additional versions part of the collection feel like there is a little more life and grit to them. They all have a sound, even just going through line level, and have made my drum tracks come to life.

Superb!!!
I used the legacy thinking it sounded great and how much better could these new ones be. They are MUCH better. Sound fantastic to my ears. Once I tired, I had to buy right away.

Amazing sound
I was looking for a tool to get a better sound on my guitars and this eq definetly does that.

Color and control
Perfect for some sources, like my craggy dad's vocal. Helped maintain solidity and presence, and brought out the grit. Also love the 1176 and LA2 emulations, but this one rounds out the vocabulary!

Very Pleased
I have used a few emulations of these plugins and they sounded good , But when I used the real hardware I could tell the difference in the unit compared to the plugins. But as soon as I got the Teletronix® LA-2A Classic Leveler Collection I was blown away with how great they sounded. They sound so much better than any other emulation Ive ever used and they are so very close to the hardware units. I'm very happy with my investment !

this emulations sound absolutely fantastic. I have Not the possibility to compare with the originals, but anyway it is a great Sound.

The High and Low cut filter
Funnily enough, as much as I enjoy the EQ's themselves, it's the high/low cut filter that I use the most.
It just sounds amazing, adding a bit of character, making things clearer in the mix, when taking away frequencies. Highly recommended, just for that!
The EQ's are amaxing too, of course.................

Mojo machine.
Title says it all. I find myself using these compressors a lot on things where my other software compressors simply won't do. I am especially fond of the 660!

Pultec delivers everytime
By adding the UAD Pultec HLF-3C has given my mixes a dimension they were lacking. I always had the conception of its delivery and now it's a reality! It is a gotta have piece of the puzzle.

Just great.
There is no secret here, this compressors are great! Very easy to use, and exceptional sound quality and transparency. Great for voices, piano, guitar, solo instruments. An absolute must.

I was kind of exepic because of the price, but is the best plug in my studio for tracking and mixing
