Bang on!
There are some amazing plugins out there. But, this really takes the crown for most realistic 1176!! I can't speak for the REV A and AE versions because I have limited experience with the real units. I do, however, own 2 Urei 1176 Rev E units. I've done extensive A/B tests on all sorts of different material. I really can go as far as saying that they nailed the sound. The plugin reacts exactly like my hardware units. Crazy! This is a most buy for any UAD owner.

Really a no brainer! Sound great and you have 3 classics in the studio for 300 dollars.

Great free plug with the Apollo twin
I got this for free with my Apollo twin, I love this with my clean rhythm guitar and vocals, I'm not crazy about the overdriven sound, but it definitely adds great subtle distortion when clean I've tested this UNISON vs not, if you own a UNISON device then it's definitely one you'd love to have in your arsenal, and for free with the purchase, I have nothing to say against this one. If I didn't own it I'd def buy it. 5 stars cause I didn't have to pay extra!!!

Amazing on virtual piano!
This plugin is very impressive, I barely had to tweak anything, i thought it would squash my piano and mes dynamics but with very subtle compression it made my virtual piano sound amazing, it wasn't sounding bad before, but this brought it to another level. This will be my next purchase.

Rock!!!
This comp just makes my life easier for rock instruments, very simple to use. This is one of the first plugins I purchased from UAD, their comps are amazing.

A must for vocals
The grey just makes vocals sound better, very simple to use, all of them are worth experimenting! This is one of the plugins that made me purchase UAD systems.

Adore these, but one little suggestion........ please
Yes, it's amazing and I use them on EVERY tracking and mixing session. I know some will say this is sacrilege, but I would love the option for finer tune adjustments than I can make with my mouse. Why? Because it's a DAW we're working in. So how about option click for fine adjust or an OPTIONAL number box to slightly bump the value up or down a bit? Please do this for all the awesome vintage emulation plugs with tiny fiddly knobs. A good example would be the Klanghelm MJUC. Still has the nice visual and great sound plus the advantages of numerical interface.

Caught the Sale and Couldn't Resist!!
I've been eyeing the 1176 bundle for quite some time and I finally decided to make the leap when I came across the October compressor sale. I was absolutely floored when I inserted the 1176 REV A compressor into my signal chain and heard the amazing clarity and color out of my system. The REV A compressor plugin is practically undistinguishable from the Analog version.
I even went back to some older sessions and inserted the compressor into the signal flow of a few bass and kick drums tracks and could not believe the amazing clarity.
I've been using my UA Apollo for almost three years and I have yet to be disappointed.

favorite Old EQ
This is a very favorite plug-ins. I use frequently when you mix.It is especially base and vocals often.Anytime you come perfect track. Operation is also recommended simple.

Preamp as it should be
I frequently use this preamp on drums and guitar inputs. It does not color the source. It's a good preamp to use in front of stand alone eq without adding color to the signal. I use this quite frequently to drive Marshall and Chander boutique amps and add an edge to those signals. The eq is simple and straightforward and useful in bringing an instrument into focus. While not sexy like a 1073 or API Vision, the preamp is good to use with other eqs that UAD offers and build a channel strip for recording. Useful in pushing drum machines and synth modules as well as sometimes those instruments are anemic.

Route 76 Heaven!
I am new to the UAD party, I finally jumped onto the ship and I am happy I did! This collection was the first I wanted to demo, I have been lucky enough to intern in studios that have the Blue and Black face 1176's and could see first hand how they react in real life and mostly importantly the sound. I have to say these plugins react in my opinnon exactly how I remember! I had the Waves CLA and sold those once Slate released his 76 style plugin. The Slate was the closest so it became my go to for drums and bass, but after demoing this collection I bought them. I can not stress how much of a difference these 3 compressors make on an instrument, just buy them already!

One word is beautiful.
I started with the 1176 collection and moved on to the amazing LA-2A and now i am trying to wrap my mind around this beast. Such beautiful stuff, both the GUI and the sound. Really creamy sound!

i say this i have had ozone waves just a ton of plug ins I'm new to appollo but there plug ins make me want to buy them all i just feel the more I'm studying and using there stuff the more crystal our stuff is and the less headache I'm having i have fallen in luv with had stuff period
