100% F**K YES!
So good. Do your self a favor and pick this guy up. Finally someone made an SVT emulation that actually works!

Amazing
So often plugins are touted to be better than they actually are. Not the case with most UA stuff, so I decided to add one more arrow in my Apollo based studio's quiver and get the Ampeg SVT-3 Pro. The main reason for wanting it was that I've been running my bass in direct and then using EQ and compression to shape it because I do not have a bass amp. As soon as I plugged this in I was amazed and Immediately I was in business. I removed all the other plug ins from my channel and engaged the Ampeg. I played with a few knobs to shape the tone and...done. Really, this is a "plug it in and go" unit and it's one of my smartest purchases for 2015. Thanks UA...you nailed this one.

Ampeg and Efimov "Modern" bass...unbeatable
I just popped open the trial version. Ah, 14 days of heaven. This combination is just So deep, present, and the top end crispness on the slap notes are tamed JUST enough with the tube vibe.
When the 14 days are up, if I haven't already purchased ANOTHER of the many tempting plugs (I have Apollo 8 credit) THIS plug is going into my vast and growing collection of UA gold.
5 stars for sure.

Finally!
I've had the Apollo quad for a year and a half and when I am practicing or jamming with my guitar player I am always pulling up a few different plugins to achieve a nice Fat amp sound. Now I all I need is this! Sounds awesome, cab selection is pretty good. Haven't dug too far into them yet, just been sticking with the 8x10. Must have for all bass players and music producers, heck all Mixers that are not happy with the bass tone they are given.

Definately the best one on the market
In the mid 80:s I owned one of these (Mid 70's edition) and I loved it (despite the terrible weight of it). Unfortunately I had to sell it because of economical reasons in the late 80's. Now, for many years I've enjoyd the Amplitube SVT which is okay but this one is a killer and really beats the hell out of the IKM-version.
To compare it with the previous item from Softtube the Hiwatt:ish Bass amp room (which is also quite awesome) this one is "in-your face" clear and over all more professional sounding. No mud or dirt added. It brought me a whole lot of nostalgic joy pulling the bass/ mid/treble-buttons in the upper row. Perfectly sounding exactly as I can remember it from ma' old amp. Great job!

Awesome.
After years of trying to get good sound out of DI bass tracks I finally came up with a pretty cool plug-in chain that I've been using as a starting point. Yesterday I activated the SVT-VR demo and did some A/B tests: my plug-in chain vs. the SVT-VR. No contest - this thing just completely rules.

Whoa.
I've had trouble mixing 5 string bass parts (and w/ drop D tuners) for as long as I been tracking them. My old workaround (a combination EQ and Multi-band compression) would tame the bottom but leave it unfocused. Then I started this SVT demo 2 days ago. Instant perfect bass sound, no real tweaking necessary. Most of the presets offer different takes on the same theme: big, tight, punchy tone. I can clearly hear every note in the low register of a 5 stringer now. The power soak feature allows you to really push those tubes for added aggression if needed. Listening to a couple mixes on a variety of sound systems confirms what I heard at the studio - perfect, awesome Ampeg character. In under 30 seconds.

Really cool bass amplifier!
Unlike guitar amp plugins (Engl, Marshall), this Ampeg is really sounds amazing, big, warm, fat sound! Awesome bass amp!

Ampeg SVT brings the beef!
I tried this last night, and bought it right away after using it on a mix. Just amazing. It took a few minutes to tame the beast, but once it was dialed in, it was incredible. It can go from "way too much" to "too thin" and in-between. I can't wait to track with it ! I never though it was possible to get monster bass sounds with a plug in from a DI. Very impressive.

The best
I record bass for 15 years now,and I tried every plugins and pedals that emulate a bass amp sound. By far, this plugin is the most realistic one.
I played a lot on SVTVR, and I love this amp. This emulation is so close.
Fantastic job.

helpful
to me the BX tuner reacts to slow, compared to my hardware korg pitchblack pedal, but it comes handy when you are on the road and only have your laptop and apollo interface with you, you have tuner onboard in console.. i´m glad to have it

PLEASE LEARN TO USE YOUR STUFF!!!!!
Some reviews tell it is too slow, some it is too fast...
It is just WRONG!
There are thre modes:
slow
medium
fast
You can CHOOSE between them and choose with this setting how fast the tuner will respond!
Please UAD delete these reviews where the user is not able to use their plugin!
But the tuner itself is very good because of the algorithm it is very accurate and you can trust it, not like all the other VST tuner which are round there...

Good in insert to tune my moog but Crap in Ableton live
Good in insert to tune my moog but Crap in Ableton live for my drums
I thought I could tune my drums with it in Ableton live but it doesn't seem to work except in insert.
Lucky Ableton are working on a new upgrade 9.2 with a tuner that will be versatile to replace this limited plugins.
It should be free with any UAD system !!!
.
It's great plug-in
very nice tool. I love it.

Precise & Convenient
Every Apollo user should have this plugin, inserting it into the Console eases workflow especially when double checking mid tracking, was contemplating getting a rack tuner but now there is no need. It's very precise but not overly sensitive, thankfully i'll never have to use Logic's tuner again!

Rubbish!
Absolute rubbish!
Don't bother with this as it's not worth the money despite being so cheap compared to other UA products! This is garbage! I bought it in the hope that I'm going to get a decent Tuner when I'm using my Rickenbacker Bass with my Apollo Twin but it's no good. It's really slow it jumps around and you just can't get the job done quickly enough.
If you are buying this you are wasting your money!
USE THE TUNER IN GUITAR RIG INSTEAD! SO MUCH BETTER!
I know you have to go back and forth with Guitar Rig and you'd have to leave the application but at least you are getting tuned up in seconds as the BX TUNER is complete shit... Sorry for my language but I'm absolutely disappointed!
1/10
.
Not so bad, not so good either
It is so sensitive that is almost impossible to make it stop in the green position and stay there.
I tested with 5 great guitars and the behavior was the same.
But in the end they seemed to be tuned fine, so It is not the best tuner but it does the job.
I felt it took too much processing power out my Twin.
Anyways, I agree with the overall comments that it could be a free tool.

It's a tuner
It's a software tuner. If you set the ballistics right, it works great. I've even slapped it on an insert to find the pitch on a vocal track, which is pretty cool.
.
Disappointing
The tuner is cheap but not good for really accurate tuning. Makes me hesitant to buy anything from Brainworks?
You get amazingly accurate tuners as an App or from Scuffham amps.
Maybe Uad can bring out a decent Tuner? It would be great for live also.
