I was used to the original Abbey Road plugin TG12345 but since Wave is doing it, it became just nothing special. I find with this Chandler the sound of the original plus some options. Missing from the original is the ability to use the mid range eq as a shelve...please could you do it ? It was the only eq to provide that !!!

Most beautiful mid-hi-range EQ I've seen
Beautiful & colorful EQ, perfect for strings, pads, and synths. Only downside: it takes a *lot* of DSP.

A must have but I waited until it was the right time.
It was something that I wanted but it was a little to specialized and I need other stuff first. Now that I have it, it has become a permanent part or my 2 bus stack. It is very subtle in effect and how it works changes how one adds and subtracts the Q. Keeping things short , it opens open up the mix in a very pleasing, and elegant way.
The other thing I like is that it simplifies the Mid/Side thing and using it in that way has helped me to understand how to use Mid/Side abilities in mixing.
I have used mid/side before but it was more like wrangling and in some ways unrepeatable even though a mastering engineer said he like the stereo spread on a mix I had made.

Excellent EQ
Its not for everyday use, but on specific channels or groups and when doing a pre-mix, its great.

Color for days
Perfect plugin when you need just a touch of color - not too much that it sounds over-processed, not too little that it can be replicated by a standard parametric EQ.

The Curve Bender has a lovely great sweet character and it works extremely well with guitars, drums and master bus. Highly recommend.
