Great plug-in for bringing chest on voiceover . Nice on Kick Drum...

Great Tool

Very nice sound for Bass-drums and speaking Voices.

But you must be careful for what media to use the plug-in. For very small PC speaker this device appears to be not suitable. But for this I would also not use the VOG in real. More the MaxxBass and so.

The operation at the beginning is a bit fiddly. With this plug-in I would have liked a balloon help function. And the numbers on the buttons are a bit too small in my case. In the evening my eyes are sometimes very tired when I have to adjust things so small on the screen.

really nice

I use the VOG for my basslines to cut the deep frequencies and to give more depth to the main range. This piece gives his own charakter, it is not just an one-band-EQ some guys noted earlier. I like very much, what this thing is doing. Check it out, maybe you won't like it, but maybe, you will !

Love the VOG

The controls aren't exactly intuitive, but they are simple enough to learn. I love this on kick, even better than if a separate sub-kick track is recorded since the effect frequency can be controlled. Like most seasonings, it can be overdone, but a pinch of just the right amount gives a tasty contemporary bottom end to what would otherwise be a wimpy kick.

I love it, but is it just an eq?
It does tend to make some notes sound louder than others, meaning i need to use more than one instance of it.

Great tool to great a nice bottom end especially for bass guitar. At first a little complicated to understand the frequency buttons but there's still the manual to help :)

Just the right amount of bottom end resonance

This is great addition tot my audio toolbox. VoG is pretty straightforward and the presets cover most of the bases (though I've tweaked things a bit just to hear the differences). Unlike some plug-ins that boast some bottom end boost and presence, the VoG doesn't go overboard. In fact find it to be rather subtle and relatively transparent as it doesn't color the sound. Nor does it result in a "boombox-in-your-face" effect which seems a common artifact of other plug-ins.

The frequency and amplitude controls allow you (especially on bass) to dial in the presence relative to where on the neck the bass is being played

With kick it can bring out the resonance without becoming boomy

The VOG has been, in many recent cases for me, the difference between dull low end and thumpin' bass. This is one of those purchases you make in life thinking "I already have something that pretty much does that," then you demo it and play around and realize it's an absolute must-have. If you want kick drums and bass guitars you can feel in your chest, without all the hideous tubbiness, this is it, hands down. One star off because it's by no means a fix-all and sometimes doesn't solve my bass resonance issues how I'd like, but save for the occasional "not this time," can't beat the VOG.

This little jewel is simply amazing. I love it. For Bass, Kick an Toms, I have never used anything nearly as good. Simple to operate and sounds great. One of the best plug-ins that I own. I use it on every project.

4 stars because for double base music you need to put eq after, to combine it with your kick and make it groove! For offbeat music fits great without anything!! A Must Tool !
